saying,“ Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.”

and asked,“ Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”

“ Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose, and we have come to worship him.”

saying,“ Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star at its rising and have come to worship him.”

“ Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.”

saying,“ Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”

I see him, but not now; I perceive him, but not near. A star will come from Jacob, and a scepter will arise from Israel. He will smash the forehead of Moab and strike down all the Shethites.

“ The days are coming”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ when I will raise up a Righteous Branch of David. He will reign wisely as king and administer justice and righteousness in the land.

“ I, Jesus, have sent My angel to attest these things to you for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright Morning Star.”

Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout in triumph, Daughter Jerusalem! Look, your King is coming to you; He is righteous and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

“ You are a king then?” Pilate asked.“ You say that I’m a king,” Jesus replied.“ I was born for this, and I have come into the world for this: to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to My voice.”

For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on His shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.The dominion will be vast, and its prosperity will never end. He will reign on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness from now on and forever. The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will accomplish this.

“ Rabbi,” Nathanael replied,“ You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”

Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your radiance.

“ I have consecrated My King on Zion, My holy mountain.”

When He again brings His firstborn into the world, He says, And all God’s angels must worship Him.

Now Jesus stood before the governor.“ Are You the King of the Jews?” the governor asked Him. Jesus answered,“ You have said it.”

When they saw the star, they were overjoyed beyond measure.Entering the house, they saw the child with Mary His mother, and falling to their knees, they worshiped Him. Then they opened their treasures and presented Him with gifts: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

They will serve the Lord their God and I will raise up David their king for them.”

so that all people will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

An inscription was above Him: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

The King who comes in the name of the Lord is the blessed One. Peace in heaven and glory in the highest heaven!

and the king will desire your beauty. Bow down to him, for he is your lord.

Pilate also had a sign lettered and put on the cross. The inscription was: JESUS THE NAZARENE THE KING OF THE JEWS.

Indeed, a king will reign righteously, and rulers will rule justly.Each will be like a shelter from the wind, a refuge from the rain, like streams of water in a dry land and the shade of a massive rock in an arid land.

Tell Daughter Zion,“ Look, your King is coming to you, gentle, and mounted on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.”

Because of our God’s merciful compassion, the Dawn from on high will visit usto shine on those who live in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

So Pilate asked Him,“ Are You the King of the Jews?” He answered him,“ You have said it.”

Today a Savior, who is Messiah the Lord, was born for you in the city of David.

they took palm branches and went out to meet Him. They kept shouting:“ Hosanna! He who comes in the name of the Lord is the blessed One— the King of Israel!”

From that moment Pilate made every effort to release Him. But the Jews shouted,“ If you release this man, you are not Caesar’s friend. Anyone who makes himself a king opposes Caesar!”When Pilate heard these words, he brought Jesus outside. He sat down on the judge’s bench in a place called the Stone Pavement( but in Hebrew Gabbatha).It was the preparation day for the Passover, and it was about six in the morning. Then he told the Jews,“ Here is your king!”But they shouted,“ Take Him away! Take Him away! Crucify Him!” Pilate said to them,“ Should I crucify your king?”“ We have no king but Caesar!” the chief priests answered.

“ I believe, Lord!” he said, and he worshiped Him.

Thomas responded to Him,“ My Lord and my God!”
