耶和華曰、在拉馬聞悲泣、哀哭、重憂之聲、拉結氏哭子、以無存故、而不納慰。

萬有之主耶和華曰、遍訪慧女、能謳哀歌、招之至此、使其速至、為我舉哀、使我目擊心傷、淚如泉湧。在郇邑聞彼哀歌曰、我見虜、離故土、我室已毀、不能容膝、含羞蒙垢。先知曰、維爾眾女、耶和華之言、宜傾耳以聽焉、當令爾女舉哀、鄰里哭泣。蓋注死者入我牖、侵我殿、在逵衢中、戮孩提、殲壯士、

由伯特利徙、去以法大無幾、拉結臨產艱危。難產之際、收生者曰、毋懼、爾又將得子。氣將絕時、拉結名其子曰便阿尼而死。父命名便雅憫。拉結死、葬於以法大途側、後名伯利恆、即其地。雅各立柱於拉結之墓、至今猶存。○

我聞有聲哀號、若妊婦初產、即郇女之聲、哭泣伸手、曰、殺我者至、禍必不遠、我喪厥膽。

雅各謂眾子曰、爾曹喪我子矣、約瑟已亡、西面亦亡、今欲取便雅憫、此皆害及我身。

返見諸弟曰、童子不在、我將何歸。

展於我前、內外皆有文字、錄曰、悲哀、患難、慘怛。

雅各視之曰、誠吾子之衣也、是必為惡獸所食、肢體斷傷、無疑矣。雅各遂裂己衣、衣麻慘傷、幾歷歲月。子女群來相勸、父不受慰、曰、我必悲哀、至於幽冥、就子乃已、父之痛子如此。

我觀一天使、飛於穹蒼、聞其大聲曰、尚有三天使、將吹其角、天下億兆、禍哉、禍哉、禍哉、

人則異是、始則血衰、既而氣絕、歸於無有。
