我約翰，是聽見又看見這些事的人。我聽見又看見了以後，就俯伏在那位指示我這些事的天使腳前，要敬拜他。可是他對我說：「你要注意，不可這樣！我和你，以及你的弟兄先知們，還有那些遵守這書上話語的人，都是同做奴僕的。你應當敬拜神！」他又對我說：「不可封住這書上的預言之話，因為時候快到了。

他一接到書卷，四個活物和二十四位長老就俯伏在羔羊面前，他們各拿著一把豎琴和盛滿香的金碗；這些香就是聖徒們的禱告。

船上的人都拜耶穌，說：「你真是神的兒子！」

然而有些卑劣之徒說：「這人怎麼能拯救我們呢？」他們就輕視他，也沒有給他帶禮物，掃羅卻保持沉默。

來吧！讓我們俯伏敬拜，在造我們的耶和華面前屈膝！

你所有的衣服都有沒藥、沉香、桂皮的香氣，在象牙宮殿裡有絲弦樂器聲使你歡喜。

對他說：「你如果俯伏拜我，我就把這一切都給你。」耶穌對他說：「撒旦，退去！因為經上記著：『要敬拜主——你的神，唯獨事奉他。』」

要知道，從日出之地到日落之處，我的名在列國中為大；在各處都必有人為我的名獻香、獻潔淨的供物，因為我的名在列國中為大。」這是萬軍之耶和華說的。
