我虽是自由的，无人辖管；然而我甘心作了众人的仆人，为要多得人。向犹太人，我就作犹太人，为要得犹太人；向律法以下的人，我虽不在律法以下，还是作律法以下的人，为要得律法以下的人。向没有律法的人，我就作没有律法的人，为要得没有律法的人；其实我在神面前，不是没有律法；在基督面前，正在律法之下。向软弱的人，我就作软弱的人，为要得软弱的人。向什么样的人，我就作什么样的人。无论如何，总要救些人。

只是你们要谨慎，恐怕你们这自由竟成了那软弱人的绊脚石。

我们凡事都不叫人有妨碍，免得这职分被人毁谤；

你们知道我们主耶稣基督的恩典：他本来富足，却为你们成了贫穷，叫你们因他的贫穷，可以成为富足。

无论是吃肉是喝酒，是什么别的事，叫弟兄跌倒，一概不做才好。

所以，食物若叫我弟兄跌倒，我就永远不吃肉，免得叫我弟兄跌倒了。

我们坚固的人应该担代不坚固人的软弱，不求自己的喜悦。我们各人务要叫邻舍喜悦，使他得益处，建立德行。因为基督也不求自己的喜悦，如经上所记：“辱骂你人的辱骂都落在我身上。”

你要喝那溪里的水，我已吩咐乌鸦在那里供养你。”

当时，门徒进前来对他说：“法利赛人听见这话，不服，你知道吗？”耶稣回答说：“凡栽种的物，若不是我天父栽种的，必要拔出来。任凭他们吧！他们是瞎眼领路的；若是瞎子领瞎子，两个人都要掉在坑里。”

耶和华安排一条大鱼吞了约拿，他在鱼腹中三日三夜。

神就赐福给他们，又对他们说：“要生养众多，遍满地面，治理这地，也要管理海里的鱼、空中的鸟，和地上各样行动的活物。”

不拘是犹太人，是希腊人，是神的教会，你们都不要使他跌倒；就好像我凡事都叫众人喜欢，不求自己的益处，只求众人的益处，叫他们得救。

我亲爱的弟兄们，请听，神岂不是拣选了世上的贫穷人，叫他们在信上富足，并承受他所应许给那些爱他之人的国吗？

耶和华吩咐鱼，鱼就把约拿吐在旱地上。

各样的恶事要禁戒不做。

耶稣心里知道门徒为这话议论，就对他们说：“这话是叫你们厌弃吗？

你叫他比天使微小一点，赐他荣耀尊贵为冠冕，并将你手所造的都派他管理，叫万物都服在他的脚下。”既叫万物都服他，就没有剩下一样不服他的。只是如今我们还不见万物都服他。

你自己凡事要显出善行的榜样；在教训上要正直、端庄，言语纯全，无可指责，叫那反对的人，既无处可说我们的不是，便自觉羞愧。
