你身披光華如披外袍，你鋪展穹蒼如鋪幔子。

我看見另一位大力天使從天而降。他身披雲霞，頭頂彩虹，臉如太陽，雙腿如火柱，

他的容貌如閃電，衣裳潔白如雪。

摩西手裡拿著兩塊約版下西奈山，他不知道自己因為曾與耶和華說話而臉上發光。亞倫和所有的以色列百姓看見摩西臉上發光，都不敢走近他。摩西召他們過來，亞倫和會眾的首領便上前來。摩西與他們說話。之後，所有的以色列人都來到他面前，他就把耶和華在西奈山上的吩咐都告訴他們。說完之後，他就用帕子遮住自己的臉。每當進到會幕跟耶和華說話時，他就揭開帕子，出來後便把耶和華的吩咐告訴以色列百姓。百姓會看到他臉上發光，於是他再用帕子遮住臉，直到下次與耶和華說話的時候才揭開。

祂的雙目如火焰，頭上戴了許多冠冕，寫著一個只有祂自己才明白的名字。祂穿著被鮮血浸透的衣服，祂的名字是「上帝的道」。

我又看見一個白色的大寶座和坐在上面的那位。在祂面前，天地都逃避了，消失得無影無蹤。

有一位好像人子耶穌的站在這些燈臺中間。祂長袍垂腳，金帶圍胸，頭與髮白如羊毛、潔白如雪，眼睛像火焰，雙腳像爐中冶煉過的銅一樣光亮，聲音如同洪濤之聲。祂右手拿著七顆星，口中吐出一把兩刃的利劍，面貌如烈日放光。我一看見祂，便仆倒在祂腳前，像死了一樣。祂把右手按在我身上，說：「不要害怕！我是首先的，我是末後的，

耶穌在禱告的時候，容貌改變了，衣裳潔白發光。

「父啊！我在哪裡，願你賜給我的人也在哪裡，好讓他們看見你賜給我的榮耀，因為在創世以前你已經愛我了。

道成為肉身，住在我們中間，充滿了恩典和真理。我們見過祂的榮耀，正是父獨一兒子的榮耀。

衣服變得潔白放光，世上找不到漂得那麼白的布。

你們不可追隨世界的潮流，要隨著思想的不斷更新而改變，這樣就能明辨上帝的旨意，知道什麼是良善、純全、蒙祂悅納的。

王啊！大約中午時分，我在路上看見一道比太陽還亮的光從天上照在我和同行的人周圍。我們都倒在地上，我聽見有聲音用希伯來話對我說，『掃羅！掃羅！你為什麼迫害我？你很難用腳去踢刺。』我說，『主啊，你是誰？』主說，『我就是你所迫害的耶穌。

祂雖然本質上是上帝，卻沒有緊緊抓住自己與上帝平等的地位不放，反而甘願放下一切，取了奴僕的形像，降生為人的樣子。
