吾實語爾、現立於斯者、必有未死之前、獲睹人子乘權而降焉。』

耶稣又对他们说：“我实在告诉你们，站在这里的，有人在没尝死味以前，必要看见神的国大有能力临到。”

犹太人对他说：“现在我们知道你是鬼附着的。亚伯拉罕死了，众先知也死了，你还说：‘人若遵守我的道，就永远不尝死味。’

耶稣对他说：“你说的是。然而，我告诉你们，后来你们要看见人子坐在那权能者的右边，驾着天上的云降临。”

有人在这城里逼迫你们，就逃到那城里去。我实在告诉你们，以色列的城邑，你们还没有走遍，人子就到了。

惟独见那成为比天使小一点的耶稣；因为受死的苦，就得了尊贵荣耀为冠冕，叫他因着神的恩，为人人尝了死味。

那时，他们要看见人子有大能力、大荣耀，驾云降临。

耶稣在橄榄山上坐着，门徒暗暗地来说：“请告诉我们，什么时候有这些事？你降临和世界的末了有什么预兆呢？”

他得了圣灵的启示，知道自己未死以前，必看见主所立的基督。

闪电从东边发出，直照到西边。人子降临也要这样。尸首在哪里，鹰也必聚在那里。”“那些日子的灾难一过去，日头就变黑了，月亮也不放光，众星要从天上坠落，天势都要震动。那时，人子的兆头要显在天上，地上的万族都要哀哭。他们要看见人子，有能力，有大荣耀，驾着天上的云降临。他要差遣使者，用号筒的大声，将他的选民，从四方，从天这边到天那边，都招聚了来。”

我告诉你们，要快快地给他们伸冤了。然而，人子来的时候，遇得见世上有信德吗？”

所以，你们要警醒，因为不知道你们的主是哪一天来到。

等候他儿子从天降临，就是他从死里复活的、那位救我们脱离将来忿怒的耶稣。

那时，他们要看见人子有能力，有大荣耀驾云降临。一有这些事，你们就当挺身昂首，因为你们得赎的日子近了。”
