For God said,‘ Honor your father and mother’ and‘ Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’

「敬爾父母；詈父母者、死無赦；」

God said,‘ Honor your father and mother.’( Exodus 20:12; Deuteronomy 5:16) He also said,‘ Anyone who asks for bad things to happen to their father or mother must be put to death.’( Exodus 21:17; Leviticus 20:9)

For God commanded,‘ Honor your father and your mother,’ and,‘ Whoever reviles father or mother must surely die.’

For instance, God says,‘ Honor your father and mother,’ and‘ Anyone who speaks disrespectfully of father or mother must be put to death.’

For God said: Honor your father and your mother; and, Whoever speaks evil of father or mother must be put to death.

For God said,‘ Honor your father and mother,’ and,‘ The one who speaks evil of father or mother is to be put to death.’

“ Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

“ Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.

Listen to your father, who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

honor your father and mother,’ and‘ love your neighbor as yourself.’”

If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him,his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town.They shall say to the elders,“ This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a glutton and a drunkard.”Then all the men of his town are to stone him to death. You must purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear of it and be afraid.

Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.

“‘ Each of you must respect your mother and father, and you must observe my Sabbaths. I am the Lord your God.

“ Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

If someone curses their father or mother, their lamp will be snuffed out in pitch darkness.

“ Cursed is anyone who dishonors their father or mother.” Then all the people shall say,“ Amen!”

Jesus said to him,“ Away from me, Satan! For it is written:‘ Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’”

Consult God’s instruction and the testimony of warning. If anyone does not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn.

“ The eye that mocks a father, that scorns an aged mother, will be pecked out by the ravens of the valley, will be eaten by the vultures.
