“ Don’t you understand yet?” Jesus asked them.

耶稣说：“你们还是不明白吗？

耶稣说：“到如今，你们也无知吗？

耶穌說：「你們到如今還不明白嗎？

耶穌說：「連你們也還不明白嗎？

耶穌說：「連你們也還不明白嗎？

耶穌說：「你們還不明白嗎？

耶穌說：“你們還是不明白嗎？

耶穌說：『連你們到如今還是蒙昧麼？

耶穌說：「到如今，你們也無知嗎？

曰爾曹猶未悟乎、

耶穌曰、爾尚不悟歟、

耶穌曰、爾曹亦不悟乎、

耶穌曰：『爾曹亦依然無識耶？

“ Are you still so dull?” Jesus asked them.

And he said,“ Are you also still without understanding?

“ Don’t you understand yet?” Jesus asked.

“ Do you still lack understanding?” he asked.

Jesus said,“ Are you also still lacking in understanding?

So Jesus said,“ Are you also still without understanding?

And he said, Are ye also even yet without understanding?

“ Are even you still lacking in understanding?” He asked.

And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?

Jesus said,“ Even after all this, are you still so foolish?

So Jesus said,“ Do you also still not understand?

Don’t you understand yet? Don’t you remember the five loaves for the 5,000? Don’t you remember how many baskets of pieces you gathered?

“ Don’t you understand?” Jesus asked.“ Don’t you see? Nothing that enters a person from the outside can make them‘ unclean.’

Jesus called the crowd to him. He said,“ Listen and understand.

But they didn’t understand what he meant. And they were afraid to ask him about it.

But they didn’t understand what this meant. That was because it was hidden from them. And they were afraid to ask Jesus about it.

The Lord’ s people are making fun of him. They say,“ Who does he think he’s trying to teach? Who does he think he’s explaining his message to? Is it to children who do not need their mother’s milk anymore? Is it to those who have just been taken from her breast?Here is how he teaches. Do this and do that. There is a rule for this and a rule for that. Learn a little here and learn a little there.”

The disciples did not understand any of this. Its meaning was hidden from them. So they didn’t know what Jesus was talking about.

Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.

They had not understood about the loaves. They were stubborn.

How can you possibly not understand? I wasn’t talking to you about bread. But watch out for the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

“ Do you understand all these things?” Jesus asked.“ Yes,” they replied.

Jesus knew what they were saying. So he asked them,“ Why are you talking about having no bread? Why can’t you see or understand? Are you stubborn?Do you have eyes and still don’t see? Do you have ears and still don’t hear? And don’t you remember?

By this time you should be teachers. But in fact, you need someone to teach you all over again. You need even the simple truths of God’s word. You need milk, not solid food.
