一天，耶稣站在革尼撒勒湖边，众人团团围着祂，要听上帝的道。

他们渡到湖对岸，来到革尼撒勒，在那里靠岸，刚一下船，众人立刻认出了耶稣。他们跑遍那一带地方，用垫子把生病的人抬来，听到耶稣在哪里，就把病人抬到哪里。耶稣不论到哪一个城市、乡镇和村庄，人们总是把病人抬到街市上，求耶稣让他们摸一摸祂衣裳的穗边，所有摸过的病人都好了。

他们发现耶稣和门徒都不在那里，就乘船到迦百农去找祂。他们在湖对岸找到了耶稣，对祂说：“老师，你什么时候到这里来的？”
