So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said,“ Father, I thank you that you have heard me. (niv)

Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. (niv)

Then Jesus directed them to have all the people sit down in groups on the green grass. (niv)

Jesus said,“ Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down( about five thousand men were there).Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish. (niv)

Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ? (niv)
