So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet:“ I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.”

So the words spoken by the prophet came true. He had said,“ I will open my mouth and tell stories. I will speak about things that were hidden since the world was made.”( Psalm 78:2)

我要开口说比喻，我要解开古时的谜语，

又使众人都明白什么是历代以来隐藏在创造万物之神里的奥秘，

我们讲的是从前隐藏的、神奥秘的智慧，就是神在万世以前预定使我们得荣耀的智慧；

惟有神能照我所传的福音和所讲的耶稣基督，并照历代以来隐藏的奥秘的启示，坚固你们。这奥秘如今显示出来，而且按着永生神的命令，藉众先知的书指示万民，使他们因信而顺服。

基督是神在创世以前所预知，而在这末世才为你们显现的。你们也因着他而信那使他从死人中复活、又给他荣耀的神，好让你们的信心和盼望都在于神。

父啊，我在哪里，愿你所赐给我的人也同我在哪里，使他们看见你所赐给我的荣耀，因为创世以前，你已经爱我了。

于是王要向他右边的说：‘你们这蒙我父赐福的，可来承受那创世以来为你们所预备的国。

这奥秘在以前的世代没有让人知道，像如今藉着圣灵向他的圣使徒和先知启示一样，

主耶和华不会做任何事情，除非先将奥秘指示他的仆人众先知。

我照神为你们所赐我的职分作了教会的仆役，要把神的道传得完满；这道就是历世历代所隐藏的奥秘，但如今向他的圣徒显明了。

这真理是在盼望那无谎言的神在万古之先所应许的永生，到了适当的时机，藉着传扬福音，把他的道显明了；这传扬的责任是按着我们的救主神的命令交托给我的—

看哪，先前的事已经成就，现在我要指明新事，告诉你们尚未发生的事。

凡住在地上、名字从创世以来没有记在被杀羔羊的生命册上的人都要拜它。

在他们身上，正应验了以赛亚的预言：‘你们听了又听，却不明白，看了又看，却看不清。

神救了我们，以圣召召我们，不是按我们的行为，而是按他的旨意和恩典；这恩典是万古之先在基督耶稣里赐给我们的，但如今藉着我们的救主基督耶稣的显现已经表明出来；他把死废去，藉着福音，将不朽的生命彰显出来。

我要侧耳听比喻，用琴解谜语。

查考在他们心里的基督的灵预先证明基督受苦难，后来得荣耀，是指什么时候，什么样的情况。他们得了启示，知道他们所服事的不是自己，而是你们。那藉着从天上差来的圣灵传福音给你们的人，现在将这些事传给你们；这些事连天使也都切望察看呢！

在审判的时候，推罗和西顿所受的，比你们还容易受呢！

你曾看见的兽，以前有，现在没有，将来要从无底坑里上来，又归于沉沦。凡住在地上、名字从创世以来没有记在生命册上的人看见那只兽都要诧异，因为它以前有，现在没有，以后再有。

这事发生是要应验先知所说的话：“要对锡安的儿女说：看哪，你的王来到你这里，谦和地骑着驴，骑着小驴—驴的驹子。”
