曰姦惡之世而求異兆、先知約拿之兆外、無以示之、

耶穌對曰：『以邪惡不淑之世代、而求靈徵、除先知若納之靈徵、更無他徵可授。

He answered,“ A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.

姦惡之世而求異兆、約拿異兆而外、無以示之、遂去之、○

眾集就之、耶穌曰、此世乃惡世也、而求異兆、約拿之兆外、無以示之、蓋約拿為兆於尼尼微人、人子亦將為兆於斯世、當鞫日、南方女王將與斯世之人同起而罪之、以其來自地極、聽所羅門之哲言、況有大於所羅門者在此乎、當鞫日、尼尼微人將與斯世並立而罪之、以其因約拿所宣而改悔、況有大於約拿者在此乎、○

淫亂者乎、爾豈不知友於世、乃敵上帝乎、凡欲為世之友者、自為上帝敵也、

惟爾女巫之子、奸夫與妓之裔、其前而聽、

當此姦惡之世、凡恥我及我之道者、人子以父榮偕聖使而臨時、亦將恥其人矣、
