你们要让基督的话语丰丰富富地住在你们里面，要用一切的智慧彼此教导、劝诫，怀着感恩的心，以诗篇、圣诗、属灵的诗歌来歌颂神。

心里有智慧的，被称为有悟性的人；嘴唇的甘甜，使人增添学问。见识是有见识者的生命泉源，愚妄是对愚妄人的惩罚。智慧人的心使他的口通达，也使他的嘴唇增添学问。

义人的口，述说智慧；他的舌头，讲说公正。神的律法在他心里，他的步履不会摇摆。

口善应对，人有喜乐；话合其时，多么美好！

耶稣对他们说：“为此，凡是成为天国门徒的经文士，就好比一家的主人，从他的宝库里拿出新的和旧的东西来。”

你们这些毒蛇的子孙！你们做为恶人，怎么能说出善的来呢？因为心里所充满的，口里就说出来。

恶人的话语，埋伏着要杀人流血；正直人的口，将解救自己。

说真话的，显出公义；作假见证的，显出诡诈。有人轻率说话，如刀刺人；智慧人的话语，使人痊愈。诚实的嘴唇，永远存留；撒谎的舌头，转瞬即逝。

任何坏话都不可出口，而是按着需要说造就人的好话，使听的人得到益处。
