嗟爾蝮種、本性既惡、言何能善。蓋有蘊於心、口則宣之。

You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

You nest of poisonous snakes! How can you who are evil say anything good? Your mouths say everything that is in your hearts.

You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

You brood of snakes! How could evil men like you speak what is good and right? For whatever is in your heart determines what you say.

Brood of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil? For the mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart.

Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for edifying as the need may be, that it may give grace to them that hear.

as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one;There is none that understandeth, There is none that seeketh after God;They have all turned aside, they are together become unprofitable; There is none that doeth good, no, not so much as one:Their throat is an open sepulchre; With their tongues they have used deceit: The poison of asps is under their lips:Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:

The good man out of his good treasure bringeth forth good things: and the evil man out of his evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father it is your will to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and standeth not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof.

For the fool will speak folly, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise profaneness, and to utter error against Jehovah, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and to cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.

Who devise mischiefs in their heart; Continually do they gather themselves together for war.They have sharpened their tongue like a serpent; Adders’ poison is under their lips.[ Selah

Ye serpents, ye offspring of vipers, how shall ye escape the judgment of hell?

None sueth in righteousness, and none pleadeth in truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

Stand in the gate of Jehovah’s house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of Jehovah, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship Jehovah.Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of Jehovah, the temple of Jehovah, the temple of Jehovah, are these.For if ye thoroughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye thoroughly execute justice between a man and his neighbor;

They encourage themselves in an evil purpose; They commune of laying snares privily; They say, Who will see them?
