“你们或以为树好，果子也好；树坏，果子也坏；因为看果子就可以知道树。

“你们知道树好，果子也好；又知道树坏，果子也坏；因为看果子就可以知道树。

“好树结好果子，坏树结坏果子，看果子就能知道树的好坏。

“你们种好树就结好果子，种坏树就结坏果子；凭着果子就能认出树来。

“你们让一棵树好，它的果子就好；你们让一棵树坏，它的果子就坏；这样，一棵树是凭着果子被认出来。

「你們或以為樹好，果子也好；樹壞，果子也壞；因為看果子就可以知道樹。

「你們讓一棵樹好，它的果子就好；你們讓一棵樹壞，它的果子就壞；這樣，一棵樹是憑著果子被認出來。

或以樹善、其果亦善、樹惡、其果亦惡、蓋由果而識樹矣、

果善、則謂其樹善、果惡、則謂其樹惡、蓋由果而識樹矣、

爾或以樹為善、其果亦善、或以樹為惡、其果亦惡、蓋觀果而知樹矣、

若云菓美、則樹亦美；若云樹惡、則菓亦惡。樹之美惡、因菓而知也。

凭着他们的果子，就可以认出他们来。荆棘上岂能摘葡萄呢？蒺藜里岂能摘无花果呢？这样，凡好树都结好果子，惟独坏树结坏果子。好树不能结坏果子；坏树不能结好果子。凡不结好果子的树就砍下来，丢在火里。所以，凭着他们的果子就可以认出他们来。”

你们亲近神，神就必亲近你们。有罪的人哪，要洁净你们的手！心怀二意的人哪，要清洁你们的心！

要恶恶好善，在城门口秉公行义；或者耶和华万军之神向约瑟的余民施恩。

你们要将所犯的一切罪过尽行抛弃，自做一个新心和新灵。以色列家啊，你们何必死亡呢？

主对他说：“如今你们法利赛人洗净杯盘的外面，你们里面却满了勒索和邪恶。无知的人哪，造外面的，不也造里面吗？

你们要结出果子来，与悔改的心相称。不要自己心里说：‘有亚伯拉罕为我们的祖宗。’我告诉你们，神能从这些石头中给亚伯拉罕兴起子孙来。现在斧子已经放在树根上，凡不结好果子的树就砍下来，丢在火里。

你这瞎眼的法利赛人，先洗净杯盘的里面，好叫外面也干净了。

你们要常在我里面，我也常在你们里面。枝子若不常在葡萄树上，自己就不能结果子；你们若不常在我里面，也是这样。我是葡萄树，你们是枝子。常在我里面的，我也常在他里面，这人就多结果子；因为离了我，你们就不能作什么。人若不常在我里面，就像枝子丢在外面枯干，人拾起来，扔在火里烧了。你们若常在我里面，我的话也常在你们里面，凡你们所愿意的，祈求，就给你们成就。

我的弟兄们，无花果树能生橄榄吗？葡萄树能结无花果吗？咸水里也不能发出甜水来。

现在斧子已经放在树根上，凡不结好果子的树就砍下来，丢在火里。”
