其耳即啟、舌結亦解、而出言明矣、耶穌戒眾、勿以告人、然愈戒而彼愈播揚、眾不勝駭異曰、其所為盡善、使聾者聽、瘖者言矣、

我遣爾為明其目、俾棄暗就光、離撒但之權、歸於天主、使其因信我而罪得赦、於諸聖徒中獲業、

邪魔一見耶穌、俯伏其前、呼曰、爾乃天主之子、

其聲名揚於敘利亞遍地、凡身有疾、負各種病痛者、及患魔者、癲癇者、癱瘓者、人攜之就耶穌、耶穌悉醫愈之、

當是時瞽者目必明、聾者耳必啟、跛者必踴躍如鹿、瘖者必謳歌、蓋有水湧於曠野、有河流於沙漠、

彼既出、有攜瘖啞而患魔者、就耶穌、魔被逐、瘖啞者即能言、眾奇曰、以色列中、從未見有如是者、惟法利賽人曰、彼藉魔王而逐魔耳、○

求主容我啟唇、使我口得頌美主、

見者之目不復昧、聽者之耳必常聰、鹵莽者必明達道、言吶者不鈍於辭、言吶者不鈍於辭或作口癡者出言暢快

眾中有一人答曰、師、我攜我子就爾、彼為瘖魔所憑、無論何處、魔憑之、即使之傾跌、流涎切齒、其身漸枯、我請爾門徒逐之、而不能也、耶穌答曰、噫、不信之世歟、我偕爾至幾時、我忍爾至幾時、可攜子就我、遂攜之至、一見耶穌、魔即拘攣之仆地、輾轉流涎、耶穌問其父曰、彼患此幾時矣、曰、自小時也、屢投之於火中水中、欲滅之、倘爾能為、則憫而助我儕、耶穌謂之曰、爾若能信、在信者無不能也、子之父垂淚呼曰、主歟、我信、求助我信之不足、耶穌見眾趨集、遂斥邪魔曰、聾瘖之魔、我命爾由彼出、勿再入之、魔乃號呼、拘攣其身而出、子若死然、人多謂其已死、
