惟奉召者、則無論猶太、希利尼、皆以基督為上帝大用、上帝智慧、蓋上帝即不智、亦智於人、上帝即不能、亦能於人、兄弟乎、爾之奉召可見矣、貌為智為能為貴者、不多蒙召、乃上帝選世之不智、以愧智者、選世之不能、以愧能者、且選世之不貴者、見棄者、人視為無有者、以廢世之有者、故上帝前、無人得自誇、

爾所為甚大、所思深奧兮、愚蠢之人、不知斯理、不明斯道兮、

耶穌與門徒亦見請、

乃以善悅人、而輔其德、

我見靈物諸老、與位四旁、天使數千萬、聞聲大呼曰、見殺之羔、必得其權、必得其富、必得其智、必得其能、必得其尊、必得其榮、必得其祉、我聞天上地下、幽冥海中、百物云、福祉、尊榮、權力、歸於坐位者及羔、歷世未艾、靈物曰、此誠心所願也、二十四老伏拜永生之主焉、

我之上帝宜有其祉、有其榮、有其智、有其頌、有其尊、有其權、有其能、永世靡暨、此誠所願也、

智者見道於目前、愚者放心於天外、

然我在聖徒中、微而又微者也、上帝賜恩、使我於異邦中、傳基督之富有、人不可測、令眾共知上帝永世所隱奧妙、上帝以耶穌基督造萬物、亦藉教會、示在天有權力者、知上帝無窮智慧、
