蓋未有掩而不露、隱而不知者、是故爾言於幽暗者、必聞於光明、附耳語於密室者、必宣於屋上、我友乎、我語汝、殺身而後別無能為者、勿懼之、我以當懼者示爾、即殺後、又有權投於地獄者、我誠語汝、當懼者此也、五雀非二分金售乎、然於上帝前、其一亦不忘也、即爾首之髮、皆已見數、勿懼、爾較多雀尤貴也、我又語汝、凡於人前認我者、人子於上帝使者前、亦必認之、於人前不認我者、亦必不見認於上帝使者前、

畏人必陷羅網、惟恃耶和華者、必得安居、

耶和華曰、若蚓之雅各、以色列人歟、勿懼、我必助爾、救贖爾者、乃以色列之聖者也、

是以時未至、俱勿擬、待主臨、必彰暗中之隱、發眾心之謀、各由上帝得其褒也、○

主曰、慰藉爾者我也、爾何人斯、乃畏必死之世人、懼如草之人子、而忘展布諸天、奠定地基、肇造爾之耶和華、終日因強暴者之怒而懼、以其圖滅爾、其怒安在、

勿畏葸、以我偕爾、勿恇怯、以我為爾上帝、我必鞏固爾、輔助爾、以我公義之右手扶持爾、

惡者無人追襲而逃、義者猛勇若獅、

惟爾人子、雖居荊棘蒺藜與蠍之中、勿畏之、亦勿畏其言、彼雖悖逆之家、勿畏其言、勿懼其貌、

若因義受苦、則福矣、勿畏其威、勿為所撼、

爾其束腰而起、盡傳我命、勿緣之恐惶、免我使爾恐惶於其前、我是日使爾對於猶大通國、君王牧伯、祭司庶民、為堅城鐵柱銅垣、

彼得約翰曰、聽爾曹、過於聽上帝、在上帝前為義否、爾其審之、

但聖神臨爾時、爾將得能、且於耶路撒冷、徧猶太、撒瑪利亞、以至地極、為我之證、

且以其名傳改悔、及赦罪之道於萬邦、自耶路撒冷始焉、

眾見彼得約翰之果敢、且知其為無學無識之氓、則異之、又知其曾偕耶穌、
