You are suffering under a curse, yet you— the whole nation— are still robbing Me.

因你们通国的人都夺取我的供物，咒诅就临到你们身上。

因你们全国上下都抢夺我的供物，诅咒就临到你们身上。

因你们全国上下都抢夺我的供物，诅咒就临到你们身上。

举国上下都是如此，所以你们必受咒诅。”

你们要受严厉的咒诅，因你们全国的人都抢夺了属我之物。”

你们受严厉的诅咒，是因为你们在抢夺我，你们全国的人都在抢夺我。”

因你們通國的人都奪取我的供物，咒詛就臨到你們身上。

因你們全國上下都搶奪我的供物，詛咒就臨到你們身上。

因你們全國上下都搶奪我的供物，詛咒就臨到你們身上。

舉國上下都是如此，所以你們必受咒詛。」

你們要受嚴厲的咒詛，因你們全國的人都搶奪了屬我之物。”

你們被咒詛所咒詛，是因為你們、你們全國的人、搶奪的乃是我！

你們受嚴厲的詛咒，是因為你們在搶奪我，你們全國的人都在搶奪我。」

爾受詛矣、蓋舉國行竊於我也、

爾曹通國之民、無不欺予、故服咒詛、

爾曹通國之民被咒詛、乃因欺我故、

You are under a curse— your whole nation— because you are robbing me.

So you are under my curse. In fact, your whole nation is under my curse. That is because you are robbing me.

You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing me, the whole nation of you.

You are under a curse, for your whole nation has been cheating me.

You are suffering under a curse, yet you— the whole nation— are still robbing me.

You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing Me, the entire nation of you!

You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation.

Ye are cursed with the curse; for ye rob me, even this whole nation.

Ye[ are] cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me,[ even] this whole nation.

You are bound for judgment because you are robbing me– this whole nation is guilty.

You are cursed with the curse; for you rob me, even this whole nation.

Then Haggai replied,“ So is this people, and so is this nation before Me”— this is the Lord’s declaration.“ And so is every work of their hands; even what they offer there is defiled.“ Now, reflect back from this day: Before one stone was placed on another in the Lord’s temple,what state were you in? When someone came to a grain heap of 20 measures, it only amounted to 10; when one came to the winepress to dip 50 measures from the vat, it only amounted to 20.I struck you— all the work of your hands— with blight, mildew, and hail, but you didn’t turn to Me”— this is the Lord’s declaration.

If you don’t listen, and if you don’t take it to heart to honor My name,” says Yahweh of Hosts,“ I will send a curse among you, and I will curse your blessings. In fact, I have already begun to curse them because you are not taking it to heart.

“ But if you do not obey the Lord your God by carefully following all His commands and statutes I am giving you today, all these curses will come and overtake you:You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country.Your basket and kneading bowl will be cursed.Your descendants will be cursed, and your land’s produce, the young of your herds, and the newborn of your flocks.You will be cursed when you come in and cursed when you go out.

You have planted much but harvested little. You eat but never have enough to be satisfied. You drink but never have enough to become drunk. You put on clothes but never have enough to get warm. The wage earner puts his wages into a bag with a hole in it.”The Lord of Hosts says this:“ Think carefully about your ways.Go up into the hills, bring down lumber, and build the house. Then I will be pleased with it and be glorified,” says the Lord.“ You expected much, but then it amounted to little. When you brought the harvest to your house, I ruined it. Why?” This is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts.“ Because My house still lies in ruins, while each of you is busy with his own house.So on your account, the skies have withheld the dew and the land its crops.I have summoned a drought on the fields and the hills, on the grain, new wine, olive oil, and whatever the ground yields, on man and beast, and on all that your hands produce.”

This is why the Israelites cannot stand against their enemies. They will turn their backs and run from their enemies, because they have been set apart for destruction. I will no longer be with you unless you remove from you what is set apart.“ Go and consecrate the people. Tell them to consecrate themselves for tomorrow, for this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: There are things that are set apart among you, Israel. You will not be able to stand against your enemies until you remove what is set apart.

So I defiled the officers of the sanctuary, and set Jacob apart for destruction and Israel for abuse.

Wasn’t Achan son of Zerah unfaithful regarding what was set apart for destruction, bringing wrath on the entire community of Israel? He was not the only one who perished because of his sin.’”
