“ Since, I, the LORD, do not go back on my promises, you, sons of Jacob, have not perished.

我耶和華不變易、故爾雅各子孫、不見翦滅、○

我乃耶和華永不移易、故爾雅各人、不盡殲滅。

我耶和華永不永不或作未嘗變易、故爾雅各之後裔、不盡殲滅、

“ I the Lord do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed.

“ I am the Lord. I do not change. That is why I have not destroyed you members of Jacob’s family.

“ For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed.

“ I am the Lord, and I do not change. That is why you descendants of Jacob are not already destroyed.

“ Because I, the LORD, have not changed, you descendants of Jacob have not been destroyed.

“ For I, the Lord, do not change; therefore you, the sons of Jacob, have not come to an end.

“ For I am the Lord, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.

For I, Jehovah, change not; therefore ye, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.

“ Because I, Yahweh, have not changed, you descendants of Jacob have not been destroyed.

For I[ am] the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

“ For I, Yahweh, don’t change; therefore you, sons of Jacob, are not consumed.

God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a human being, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not make it happen?

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever!

All generous giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or the slightest hint of change.

The LORD’s loyal kindness never ceases; his compassions never end.They are fresh every morning; your faithfulness is abundant!

“ I am the LORD, the God of all humankind. There is, indeed, nothing too difficult for me.

And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose,because those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.And those he predestined, he also called; and those he called, he also justified; and those he justified, he also glorified.What then shall we say about these things? Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is an eternal God, the creator of the whole earth. He does not get tired or weary; there is no limit to his wisdom.He gives strength to those who are tired; to the ones who lack power, he gives renewed energy.Even youths get tired and weary; even strong young men clumsily stumble.But those who wait for the LORD’s help find renewed strength; they rise up as if they had eagles’ wings, they run without growing weary, they walk without getting tired.

The Preeminent One of Israel does not go back on his word or change his mind, for he is not a human being who changes his mind.”

“ I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God– the one who is, and who was, and who is still to come– the All- Powerful!

I am the LORD, I have no peer, there is no God but me. I arm you for battle, even though you do not recognize me.I do this so people will recognize from east to west that there is no God but me; I am the LORD, I have no peer.I am the one who forms light and creates darkness; the one who brings about peace and creates calamity. I am the LORD, who accomplishes all these things.O sky, rain down from above! Let the clouds send down showers of deliverance! Let the earth absorb it so salvation may grow, and deliverance may sprout up along with it. I, the LORD, create it.

so that we who have found refuge in him may find strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us through two unchangeable things, since it is impossible for God to lie.

This is what the LORD, Israel’s king, says, their protector, the LORD who commands armies:“ I am the first and I am the last, there is no God but me.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end!)

But we ought to thank God always for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.He called you to this salvation through our gospel, so that you may possess the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In regard to the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but in regard to election they are dearly loved for the sake of the fathers.For the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable.

For I am sure of this very thing, that the one who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

They will perish, but you will endure. They will wear out like a garment; like clothes you will remove them and they will disappear.

For I am the LORD your God, the one who takes hold of your right hand, who says to you,‘ Don’t be afraid, I am helping you.’

I, I am the LORD, and there is no deliverer besides me.I decreed and delivered and proclaimed, and there was no other god among you. You are my witnesses,” says the LORD,“ that I am God.

Yet he is compassionate. He forgives sin and does not destroy. He often holds back his anger, and does not stir up his fury.

This is what the true God, the LORD, says– the one who created the sky and stretched it out, the one who fashioned the earth and everything that lives on it, the one who gives breath to the people on it, and life to those who live on it:“ I, the LORD, officially commission you; I take hold of your hand. I protect you and make you a covenant mediator for people, and a light to the nations,to open blind eyes, to release prisoners from dungeons, those who live in darkness from prisons.I am the LORD! That is my name! I will not share my glory with anyone else, or the praise due me with idols.

They were unfaithful and acted as treacherously as their ancestors; they were as unreliable as a malfunctioning bow.

That day the LORD made a covenant with Abram:“ To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates River–

The LORD said to him,“ I am the LORD who brought you out from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess.”

“ You are the LORD God who chose Abram and brought him forth from Ur of the Chaldeans. You changed his name to Abraham.When you perceived that his heart was faithful toward you, you established a covenant with him to give his descendants the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, and the Girgashites. You have fulfilled your promise, for you are righteous.

I cannot carry out my fierce anger! I cannot totally destroy Ephraim! Because I am God, and not man– the Holy One among you– I will not come in wrath!

For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more, since we have been reconciled, will we be saved by his life?
