Then those who feared the Lord spoke with one another. The Lord paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the Lord and esteemed his name.

Then those who feared the Lord spoke with each other, and the Lord listened to what they said. In his presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared him and always thought about the honor of his name.

Then those who respected the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD took notice. A scroll was prepared before him in which were recorded the names of those who respected the LORD and honored his name.

Then those who feared Yahweh spoke one with another; and Yahweh listened, and heard, and a book of memory was written before him, for those who feared Yahweh, and who honored his name.

You have taken account of my miseries; Put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not in Your book?

And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds.

But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and frolic like calves from the stall.

Who will not fear You, Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy; For all the nations will come and worship before You, For Your righteous acts have been revealed.”

and let’s consider how to encourage one another in love and good deeds,

So the church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria enjoyed peace, as it was being built up; and as it continued in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it kept increasing.

The good person brings out of his good treasure good things; and the evil person brings out of his evil treasure evil things.But I tell you that for every careless word that people speak, they will give an account of it on the day of judgment.For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

And the Lord said to him,“ Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and make a mark on the foreheads of the people who groan and sigh over all the abominations which are being committed in its midst.”

“ Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.”

Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, just as you also are doing.

And I have not been summoned to come to the king for these thirty days.”And they reported Esther’s words to Mordecai.Then Mordecai told them to reply to Esther,“ Do not imagine that you in the king’s palace can escape any more than all the other Jews.For if you keep silent at this time, liberation and rescue will arise for the Jews from another place, and you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?”Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai,“ Go, gather all the Jews who are found in Susa, and fast for me; do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants also will fast in the same way. And then I will go in to the king, which is not in accordance with the law; and if I perish, I perish.”So Mordecai went away and did just as Esther had commanded him.

When they had been released, they went to their own companions and reported everything that the chief priests and the elders had said to them.And when they heard this, they raised their voices to God with one mind and said,“ Lord, it is You who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything that is in them,who by the Holy Spirit, through the mouth of our father David Your servant, said,‘ Why were the nations insolent, And the peoples plotting in vain?The kings of the earth took their stand, And the rulers were gathered together Against the Lord and against His Christ.’For truly in this city there were gathered together against Your holy servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel,to do whatever Your hand and purpose predestined to occur.And now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant it to Your bond servants to speak Your word with all confidence,while You extend Your hand to heal, and signs and wonders take place through the name of Your holy servant Jesus.”And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; and not one of them claimed that anything belonging to him was his own, but all things were common property to them.And with great power the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all.

When they were at the tomb early in the morning,and did not find His body, they came, saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said that He was alive.And so some of those who were with us went to the tomb, and found it just exactly as the women also had said; but Him they did not see.”And then He said to them,“ You foolish men and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and to come into His glory?”Then beginning with Moses and with all the Prophets, He explained to them the things written about Himself in all the Scriptures.And they approached the village where they were going, and He gave the impression that He was going farther.And so they strongly urged Him, saying,“ Stay with us, for it is getting toward evening, and the day is now nearly over.” So He went in to stay with them.And it came about, when He had reclined at the table with them, that He took the bread and blessed it, and He broke it and began giving it to them.And then their eyes were opened and they recognized Him; and He vanished from their sight.

And it will come about when I leave you that the Spirit of the Lord will carry you to where I do not know; so when I come and inform Ahab and he cannot find you, he will kill me, though I, your servant, have feared the Lord from my youth.
