爾曰、奚為不納、曰、誠因爾遺棄幼時所娶之妻、彼乃爾之伉儷、爾嘗與彼立約、耶和華為證、

爾曰、此何故耶、答曰、爾幼年娶妻、有主於爾二人中作證、彼原爾之伴侶、為爾盟約之妻、爾幼年娶妻有主於爾二人中作證彼原爾之伴侶為爾盟約之妻或作是因主在爾及爾幼年所娶之妻中為證爾幼年所娶之妻原為爾之伴侶爾亦曾與彼立約爾反欺之、

You ask,“ Why?” It is because the Lord is the witness between you and the wife of your youth. You have been unfaithful to her, though she is your partner, the wife of your marriage covenant.

You ask,“ Why?” It’s because the Lord is holding you responsible. He watches how you treat the wife you married when you were young. You have been unfaithful to her. You did it even though she’s your partner. You promised to stay married to her. And the Lord was a witness to it.

But you say,“ Why does he not?” Because the Lord was witness between you and the wife of your youth, to whom you have been faithless, though she is your companion and your wife by covenant.

You cry out,“ Why doesn’t the Lord accept my worship?” I’ll tell you why! Because the Lord witnessed the vows you and your wife made when you were young. But you have been unfaithful to her, though she remained your faithful partner, the wife of your marriage vows.

And you ask,“ Why?” Because even though the LORD has been a witness between you and the wife of your youth, you have acted treacherously against her. She was your marriage partner and your wife by covenant.

Yet you say,“ For what reason?” Because the Lord has been a witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously, though she is your marriage companion and your wife by covenant.

Yet you say,“ For what reason?” Because the Lord has been witness Between you and the wife of your youth, With whom you have dealt treacherously; Yet she is your companion And your wife by covenant.

Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because Jehovah hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously, though she is thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

Yet you ask,“ For what reason?” Because the Lord has been a witness between you and the wife of your youth. You have acted treacherously against her, though she was your marriage partner and your wife by covenant.

Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet[ is] she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

Yet you ask,“ Why?” The LORD is testifying against you on behalf of the wife you married when you were young, to whom you have become unfaithful even though she is your companion and wife by law.

Yet you say,‘ Why?’ Because Yahweh has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously, though she is your companion, and the wife of your covenant.

耶和華召你，如同召回心中憂傷遭遺棄的婦人，就是年輕時所娶被遺棄的妻子；這是你的神說的。

你若苦待我的女兒，或在我的女兒以外另娶妻，雖沒有人在場，你看，有神在你我中間作證。」

一個人如果還剩下一點靈性，他不會這麼做。這人在尋找甚麼呢？神的後裔！當謹守你們的靈性，誰也不可背棄年輕時所娶的妻。

萬軍之耶和華說：「我必臨近你們，施行審判。我必速速作見證，警戒那些行邪術的、犯姦淫的、起假誓的、剝削雇工工錢的、欺壓孤兒寡婦的、屈枉寄居者的和不敬畏我的人。」

他們行可憎之事，應當羞愧；然而他們卻一點也不覺得羞愧，又不知羞恥。因此，他們必與仆倒的人一樣仆倒；我懲罰他們的時候，他們必跌倒。這是耶和華說的。

於是他們對耶利米說：「我們若不照耶和華－你神差遣你說的一切話去做，願耶和華在我們中間作真實可靠的見證。

在你一生虛空的日子，就是神賜你在日光之下虛空的日子，當與你所愛的妻快活度日，因為那是你一生中在日光之下勞碌所得的報償。

萬民哪，你們都要聽！地和其上所有的，要留心聽！主耶和華要從他的聖殿指證你們的不是。

淫婦的道是這樣，她吃了，把嘴一擦就說：「我沒有行惡。」

要使你的泉源蒙福，要喜愛你年輕時的妻子。她如可愛的母鹿，如優美的母羊，願她的胸懷使你時時滿足，願你常常迷戀她的愛情。

萬軍之耶和華對你們說：「兒子孝敬父親，僕人敬畏主人；我既為父親，孝敬我的在哪裏呢？我既為主人，敬畏我的在哪裏呢？你們這些藐視我名的祭司啊！」你們卻說：「我們在何事上藐視你的名呢？」「你們將不潔淨的食物獻在我的祭壇上，卻說：『我們在何事上使你不潔淨呢？』你們說，耶和華的供桌是可藐視的。

她離棄年輕時的配偶，忘了自己神聖的盟約。

「我從你旁邊經過看見你，看哪，正是你渴慕愛情的時候，我就用我衣服的邊搭在你身上，遮蓋你的赤體；又向你起誓，與你立約，你就歸我。這是主耶和華說的。

耶和華神說：「那人單獨一個不好，我要為他造一個配偶幫助他。」

撒母耳對他們說：「你們在我手裏沒有找着甚麼，有耶和華在你們中間作證，也有他的受膏者今日作證。」他們說：「願耶和華作證。」

看哪，我的佳偶，你真美麗！看哪，你真美麗！你的眼睛是鴿子。

基列的長老對耶弗他說：「有耶和華在你我之間作證，我們必定照你的話做。」

「我們禁食，你為何不看呢？我們刻苦己心，你為何不理會呢？」看哪，你們禁食的時候仍追求私利，剝削為你們做苦工的人。

人豈可搶奪神呢？你們竟搶奪我！你們卻說：『我們在何事上搶奪你呢？』其實就是在你們當納的十分之一奉獻和當獻的供物上。
