越至後日、我將絕爾及全家之力、使爾家中無一耆老。昔我有言、將厚待以色列族、今而後、敵必臨我家、為爾目擊、在爾家不得有老者。爾族中侍我壇前者、雖尚有人、必使爾目盲心擾、爾家之所育必壯年夭逝。爾之二子、何弗尼、非尼哈、必同日而亡、既遇斯事、可以為徵。

耶和華曰、公義者我所深愛、強據不義者我所痛疾、我與選民、曾立永約、言出惟行。必視其所為而報之。

雖獻燔祭禮物、我不悅納、雖供肥犢為酬恩之祭、我不眷顧、

故一日之間、耶和華絕以色列族之眾、自尊逮卑、自喬木至於叢葦、靡不斬伐、具齒爵、其尊者也、為偽師、其卑者也、訓導斯民者、偏頗是尚、為所蠱惑者、淪胥以亡、

若其犯罪、毫無畏葸、則欺我孰甚、不論宗族賓旅必殄絕於民中。既藐視我命、干犯我律、其罪歸之、悉行殲滅。○

曰、美哉雅各之幕、以色列之室與。

撒母耳曰、耶和華豈以燔祭禮物為喜、不以聽從其命為喜乎。夫聽命較獻祭尤善、遵言較羊脂愈美。橫逆與卜筮之罪無異、抗戾與拜偶之咎相同。不聽耶和華命、故耶和華使爾國祚不永。

祭司諸子、娶於異邦者、臚列於左、約薩撻子耶書亞之子弟、馬西雅、以列撒、雅立、其大利、皆執手為盟、許出其妻、既負罪戾、獻牡綿羊為贖罪祭、

凡蹈此愆、絕之民中、

其各人必負罪、信偽先知言者、罪與偽先知同科、

耶和華使斯土荒蕪、國家傾覆、居民離散、若庶人若祭司、若僕若主、若婢女、若主母、若鬻諸人、若購於人、若貸人以金、若借人之金、若得子母、若納子母者、俱必流離失所、

姑聽之、彼乃瞽相瞽者、以瞽相瞽、二者互陷於坑矣、

行惡惑眾之徒、浸久叢滋、欺人而自欺、

由師及弟、自尊逮卑、各掣籤而歸班列、

萬有之主耶和華曰、爾中有誰、閉我殿門、燃火於我壇、而肯徒為之乎、故我不以爾為悅、不納爾禮物、

偽師於獸前行異跡、眩惑受獸印、拜獸像者、故偽師與獸、皆被執、生投火坑、坑有硫火、

加以誓言、以利家之咎、雖獻祭品禮物、永不得贖。
