耶穌對他說：「狐狸有洞，天空的飛鳥有窩，人子卻沒有枕頭的地方。」

耶稣说：“狐狸有洞，天空的飞鸟有窝，只是人子没有枕头的地方。”

耶稣对他说：“狐狸有洞，天空的飞鸟有窝，人子却没有枕头的地方。”

耶穌說：「狐狸有洞，天空的飛鳥有窩，只是人子沒有枕頭的地方。」

耶穌對他說：『狐狸有洞，空中的飛鳥有窩，惟獨人子沒有枕頭的地方！』

耶穌曰、狐有穴、鳥有巢、惟人子無枕首之所也、

耶穌曰、狐狸有穴、飛鳥有巢、惟人之子、無枕首之所也、

耶穌曰、狐狸有穴、飛鳥有巢、惟人子無枕首之所、

耶穌應之曰：『狐有丘、鳥有巢、人子獨無枕首地。』

Jesus replied,“ Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

Jesus replied,“ Foxes have dens. Birds have nests. But the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

And Jesus said to him,“ Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”

But Jesus replied,“ Foxes have dens to live in, and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place even to lay his head.”

Jesus told him,“ Foxes have dens, and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

And Jesus said to him,“ The foxes have holes and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

And Jesus said to him,“ Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

And Jesus said unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the heaven have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Jesus told him,“ Foxes have dens, and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay His head.”

我親愛的弟兄們，請聽！神難道不是揀選了世上的那些貧窮人，使他們在信仰上富有，並且做他國度的繼承人嗎？這國度是他應許給愛他之人的。

「如果有人到我這裡來，而不恨自己的父親、母親、妻子、兒女、兄弟、姐妹，甚至自己的生命，他就不能做我的門徒。凡是不背著自己的十字架來跟從我的，也不能做我的門徒。「你們當中到底有誰想蓋一座樓，不先坐下來計算費用，看自己是否能夠完成呢？免得立好了地基，卻不能完工，看見的人都開始嘲笑他，說：『這個人開始蓋了，卻不能完工！』「或者，有哪一個君王要出去和別的君王交戰，不先坐下來考慮是否能夠用一萬兵去迎戰那用兩萬兵來攻打他的呢？否則，就會趁著他還遠的時候，差派特使去求問和平的事宜。同樣，你們當中任何人，如果不向自己所擁有的一切告別，就不能做我的門徒。

因為你們知道我們主耶穌基督的恩典：他雖然富足，卻為你們成了貧窮，好使你們藉著他的貧窮可以成為富足。

耶穌對他說：「狐狸有洞，天空的飛鳥有窩，人子卻沒有枕頭的地方。」

他的門徒當中有許多人聽了，就說：「這話實在嚴厲，誰能聽呢？」耶穌自己裡面知道他的門徒們為這話私下議論，就對他們說：「這話絆倒你們嗎？所以，如果你們看見人子升到他原先所在的地方，你們會怎麼樣呢？賜人生命的是靈，肉體沒有什麼用。我對你們說的話就是靈，就是生命。然而你們當中有一些不信的人。」原來，耶穌從起初就知道哪些人不信，也知道哪一個人要出賣他。耶穌又說：「所以我告訴過你們：如果不是蒙父所賜，沒有人能到我這裡來。」從此耶穌的門徒中有許多人離開回到背後的事上，不再與他同行。

萬軍之耶和華，我的王，我的神哪！在你的祭壇那裡，連雀鳥也找到了家，燕子為自己找到了安置幼雛的窩巢。

耶穌聽了就對他說：「你還缺少一件：把你所擁有的一切都賣掉，分給窮人，這樣你將有財寶在天上；然後你來跟從我。」那個人聽了這些話就變得很憂愁，因為他極其富有。
