他们既抗拒、毁谤，保罗就抖着衣裳，说：“你们的罪归到你们自己头上，与我无干。从今以后，我要往外邦人那里去。”

我也抖着胸前的衣襟，说：“凡不成就这应许的，愿神照样抖他离开家产和他劳碌得来的，直到抖空了。”会众都说：“阿们！”又赞美耶和华。百姓就照着所应许的去行。

又对门徒说：“听从你们的就是听从我；弃绝你们的就是弃绝我；弃绝我的就是弃绝那差我来的。”

那里的人不接待他，因他面向耶路撒冷去。他的门徒雅各、约翰看见了，就说：“主啊，你要我们吩咐火从天上降下来烧灭他们，像以利亚所做的吗？”耶稣转身责备两个门徒，说：“你们的心如何，你们并不知道。人子来不是要灭人的性命，是要救人的性命。”说着就往别的村庄去了。

无论进哪一城，人若不接待你们，你们就到街上去，说：‘就是你们城里的尘土黏在我们的脚上，我们也当着你们擦去。虽然如此，你们该知道神的国临近了。’我告诉你们，当审判的日子，所多玛所受的，比那城还容易受呢！”

对他们说：“凡为我名接待这小孩子的，就是接待我；凡接待我的，就是接待那差我来的。你们中间最小的，他便为大。”

“凡为我名接待一个像这小孩子的，就是接待我；凡接待我的，不是接待我，乃是接待那差我来的。”

耶稣嘱咐他：“你切不可告诉人，只要去把身体给祭司察看，又要为你得了洁净，照摩西所吩咐的献上礼物，对众人作证据。”

并且你们要为我的缘故被送到诸侯君王面前，对他们和外邦人作见证。
