And He said to them,“ When I sent you out without money belt and bag and sandals, you did not lack anything, did you?” They said,“ No, nothing.”

Carry no money belt, no bag, no sandals, and greet no one along the way.And whatever house you enter, first say,‘ Peace be to this house.’And if a man of peace is there, your peace will rest upon him; but if not, it will return to you.Stay in that house, eating and drinking what they provide; for the laborer is deserving of his wages. Do not move from house to house.Whatever city you enter and they receive you, eat what is served to you;and heal those in it who are sick, and say to them,‘ The kingdom of God has come near to you.’But whatever city you enter and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say,‘ Even the dust of your city which clings to our feet we wipe off in protest against you; yet be sure of this, that the kingdom of God has come near.’I say to you, it will be more tolerable on that day for Sodom than for that city.

Do not acquire gold, or silver, or copper for your money belts,or a bag for your journey, or even two tunics, or sandals, or a staff; for the worker is deserving of his support.And whatever city or village you enter, inquire who is worthy in it, and stay at his house until you leave that city.As you enter the house, give it your greeting.If the house is worthy, see that your blessing of peace comes upon it. But if it is not worthy, take back your blessing of peace.And whoever does not receive you nor listen to your words, as you leave that house or city, shake the dust off your feet.

And he would answer and say to them,“ The one who has two tunics is to share with the one who has none; and the one who has food is to do likewise.”

and He instructed them that they were to take nothing for their journey, except a mere staff— no bread, no bag, no money in their belt—but to wear sandals; and He added,“ Do not wear two tunics.”And He said to them,“ Wherever you enter a house, stay there until you leave town.Any place that does not receive you or listen to you, as you go out from there, shake the dust off the soles of your feet as a testimony against them.”

No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him.

Trust in the Lord and do good; Live in the land and cultivate faithfulness.

And Levi gave a big reception for Him in his house; and there was a large crowd of tax collectors and other people who were reclining at the table with them.

Now if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? You of little faith!

And He said to His disciples,“ For this reason I tell you, do not worry about your life, as to what you are to eat; nor for your body, as to what you are to wear.
