此后，耶稣到各城镇去传扬上帝国的福音。同行的有十二使徒，

他勇敢地传讲上帝的国，教导有关主耶稣基督的事，没有受到任何拦阻。

耶稣答道：“健康的人不需要医生，有病的人才需要。

主耶和华的灵在我身上，因为耶和华膏立了我，让我传福音给贫穷的人，差遣我医治伤心的人，宣告被掳的人得释放、被囚的人得自由；

耶稣上了岸，看见一大群人，心里怜悯他们，就治好了他们当中的病人。

又差遣他们出去宣讲上帝国的福音、医治病人。

可是，人还没信祂，怎能求告祂呢？还没听说过祂，怎能信祂呢？没有人传道，怎能听说过祂呢？

所以，我告诉你们，将把上帝的国从你们那里夺去，赐给结果子的人。

由此可见，听了道，才会信道；有了基督的话，才有道可听。

耶稣便说：“上帝国的奥秘只让你们知道，对其他人，我就用比喻，使他们看却看不见，听却听不明白。

凡父赐给我的人，必到我这里来。到我这里来的，我总不丢弃他。

因为基督并没有专顾自己，正如圣经上说：“辱骂你之人的辱骂都落在我身上。”

可是有许多人看见他们离开，认出了他们，便从各城镇步行赶往那里，比他们先到达。耶稣一下船，看见这一大群人好像没有牧人的羊，心里怜悯他们，于是教导了他们许多道理。

无论时机好坏，都要坚持传道，以百般的忍耐和教导督责人，警戒人，勉励人。

祂使饥饿的得饱足，叫富足的空手而去。

耶稣说：“我的食物就是遵行差我来者的旨意，完成祂的工作。

所以，让我们坦然无惧地到祂赐恩的宝座前，好领受怜悯和恩典，作随时的帮助。
