Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.And those by the way side are they that have heard; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word from their heart, that they may not believe and be saved.

Thou hast set at nought all them that err from thy statutes; For their deceit is falsehood.

Hear then ye the parable of the sower.When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the evil one, and snatcheth away that which hath been sown in his heart. This is he that was sown by the way side.

And he answered and said, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
