然後對他們說：“為甚麼這樣膽怯呢？你們怎麼沒有信心呢？”門徒非常懼怕，彼此說：“這到底是誰，連風和海都聽從他？”

耶穌卻對他們說：“小信的人哪！為甚麼害怕呢？”他就起來斥責風和海，風浪就完全平靜了。

誰升上天，又降下來呢？誰收聚風在掌中呢？誰包水在衣服裡呢？誰立定地的四極呢？他的名字叫甚麼？他兒子的名字叫甚麼？你知道嗎？

小信的人哪，田野的草，今天還在，明天就投進爐裡，神尚且這樣給它裝飾，何況你們呢？

耶穌說：“我不是對你說過‘如果你信，就必定看見神的榮耀’嗎？”

耶穌馬上伸手拉住他，對他說：“小信的人哪，為甚麼疑惑？”

田野的草，今天還在，明天就投進爐裡，神尚且這樣妝扮它們；小信的人哪，何況你們呢？

那時，就是耶和華把亞摩利人交給以色列人的時候，約書亞在以色列人面前對耶和華說：“太陽啊，停在基遍；月亮啊，停在亞雅崙谷。”於是太陽停住，月亮站住，直到以色列人在仇敵的身上報了仇。這事不是寫在《雅煞珥書》上嗎？太陽在天空中站住，不急速下落，約有一整天。在這日以前或這日以後，耶和華聽人的禱告，沒有像這日一樣的，因為耶和華為以色列作戰。

海水沖出如嬰孩出母胎，那時誰用門把海水關閉呢？是我以雲彩當作海的衣服，以幽暗當作包裹海的布；我為海定界限，又安置門閂和門戶，

神說：“天下的水要聚在一處，使旱地露出來！”事就這樣成了。神稱旱地為地，稱水的聚處為海。神看這是好的。

他為海洋定出界限，海水不能越過他的命令，他又劃定大地的根基；

他說：“因為你們的信心太小了。我實在告訴你們，只要你們的信心像一粒芥菜種，就是對這山說：‘從這裡移到那裡’，它也必移開。沒有甚麼是你們不能作的。”﹙有些抄本有第
