He also said to them,“ Is a lamp brought in to be put under a basket or under a bed? Isn’t it to be put on a lampstand?For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, and nothing concealed that will not be brought to light.

so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God who are faultless in a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you shine like stars in the world,by holding firm to the word of life. Then I can boast in the day of Christ that I didn’t run or labor for nothing.

The mystery of the seven stars you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.“ Write to the angel of the church in Ephesus: Thus says the one who holds the seven stars in his right hand and who walks among the seven golden lampstands:

No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house.In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.

These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.
