蓋予亦屬人權下、士卒又處予權下、諭此曰去即去、呼彼曰來即來、凡有所命、僕必從焉。』

Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.

Then Paul called one of the centurions to him and said,“ Take this young man to the commander, for he has something to tell him.”

And as they bound him with thongs, Paul said to the centurion who stood by,“ Is it lawful for you to scourge a man who is a Roman, and uncondemned?”When the centurion heard that, he went and told the commander, saying,“ Take care what you do, for this man is a Roman.”

Let as many bondservants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honor, so that the name of God and His doctrine may not be blasphemed.And those who have believing masters, let them not despise them because they are brethren, but rather serve them because those who are benefited are believers and beloved. Teach and exhort these things.

So he commanded the centurion to keep Paul and to let him have liberty, and told him not to forbid any of his friends to provide for or visit him.
