Jesus went on to say,“ To what, then, can I compare the people of this generation? What are they like?

主又說：「這樣，我該用甚麼來比這世代的人呢？他們好像甚麼呢？

主又說：「這樣，我該用甚麼來比這世代的人呢？他們好像甚麼呢？

主又說：「我用什麼來比擬這個世代的人呢？他們像什麼呢？

耶穌又說：“我要把這世代的人比作甚麼呢？他們好像甚麼呢？

『這樣、我要用甚麼來比擬這世代的人呢？他們好像甚麼呢？

主又說：「我要把這世代的人比做什麼呢？他們好比什麼呢？

又曰、斯世之人、我何以比之、其何似耶、

主曰、斯世之人、將何以比之、又以何譬譬之耶、

主又曰、有原文抄本無此句斯世之人、我將何以喻之、彼何似也、

『夫斯代之人、予將何以擬之、彼亦何所似乎？

Jesus went on to say,“ What can I compare today’s people to? What are they like?

“ To what then shall I compare the people of this generation, and what are they like?

“ To what can I compare the people of this generation?” Jesus asked.“ How can I describe them?

“ To what then should I compare the people of this generation, and what are they like?

“ To what then shall I compare the people of this generation, and what are they like?

And the Lord said,“ To what then shall I liken the men of this generation, and what are they like?

Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation, and to what are they like?

“ To what then should I compare the people of this generation, and what are they like?

And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?

“ To what then should I compare the people of this generation, and what are they like?

“ To what then should I compare the people of this generation? What are they like?

“ To what can I compare this generation? They are like children sitting in the marketplaces and calling out to others:“‘ We played the pipe for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not mourn.’For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say,‘ He has a demon.’The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say,‘ Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’ But wisdom is proved right by her deeds.”

What can I say for you? With what can I compare you, Daughter Jerusalem? To what can I liken you, that I may comfort you, Virgin Daughter Zion? Your wound is as deep as the sea. Who can heal you?

Again he said,“ What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it?
