乃謂二人曰：『爾曹即以所見所聞、回報可也：盲者明矣、跛者行矣、癩者潔矣、聾者聰矣、死者起矣、而窮苦無告者得聆嘉音。

So he replied to the messengers,“ Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.

So Jesus replied to the messengers,“ Go back to John. Tell him what you have seen and heard. Blind people receive sight. Disabled people walk. Those who have skin diseases are made‘ clean.’ Deaf people hear. Those who are dead are raised to life. And the good news is announced to those who are poor.

And he answered them,“ Go and tell John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have good news preached to them.

Then he told John’s disciples,“ Go back to John and tell him what you have seen and heard— the blind see, the lame walk, those with leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life, and the Good News is being preached to the poor.”

He replied to them,“ Go and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive their sight, the lame walk, those with leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor are told the good news,

And He answered and said to them,“ Go and report to John what you have seen and heard: people who were blind receive sight, people who limped walk, people with leprosy are cleansed and people who were deaf hear, dead people are raised up, and people who are poor have the gospel preached to them.

Jesus answered and said to them,“ Go and tell John the things you have seen and heard: that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them.

And he answered and said unto them, Go and tell John the things which ye have seen and heard; the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have good tidings preached to them.

He replied to them,“ Go and report to John the things you have seen and heard: The blind receive their sight, the lame walk, those with skin diseases are healed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor are told the good news.

Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.

So he answered them,“ Go tell John what you have seen and heard: The blind see, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have good news proclaimed to them.

Jesus answered them,“ Go and tell John the things which you have seen and heard: that the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to them.

Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped.Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. (niv)

“ The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, (niv)

In that day the deaf will hear the words of the scroll, and out of gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind will see.Once more the humble will rejoice in the Lord; the needy will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. (niv)

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. (niv)

The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them. (niv)

Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him? (niv)

Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet; and he healed them.The people were amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled made well, the lame walking and the blind seeing. Lead out those who have eyes but are blind, who have ears but are deaf. (niv)

the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous. (niv)

The man answered,“ Now that is remarkable! You don’t know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes.We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will.Nobody has ever heard of opening the eyes of a man born blind.If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.” (niv)

There some people brought to him a man who was deaf and could hardly talk, and they begged Jesus to place his hand on him.After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man’s ears. Then he spit and touched the man’s tongue.He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him,“ Ephphatha!”( which means“ Be opened!”).At this, the man’s ears were opened, his tongue was loosened and he began to speak plainly.Jesus commanded them not to tell anyone. But the more he did so, the more they kept talking about it.People were overwhelmed with amazement.“ He has done everything well,” they said.“ He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.” (niv)

“ Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?” Nathanael asked.“ Come and see,” said Philip. (niv)

When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them,“ Do you believe that I am able to do this?”“ Yes, Lord,” they replied.Then he touched their eyes and said,“ According to your faith let it be done to you”;and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly,“ See that no one knows about this.” (niv)

Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts.When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money.Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said,“ Look at us!”So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.Then Peter said,“ Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.”Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong.He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God. (niv)

See, I will bring them from the land of the north and gather them from the ends of the earth. Among them will be the blind and the lame, expectant mothers and women in labor; a great throng will return. (niv)

But I will leave within you the meek and humble. The remnant of Israel will trust in the name of the Lord. (niv)

At that very time Jesus cured many who had diseases, sicknesses and evil spirits, and gave sight to many who were blind. (niv)

They laughed at him, knowing that she was dead.But he took her by the hand and said,“ My child, get up!”Her spirit returned, and at once she stood up. Then Jesus told them to give her something to eat. (niv)

I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them. (niv)

For with shrieks, impure spirits came out of many, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed. (niv)

While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him,“ Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man.“ I am willing,” he said.“ Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him.Then Jesus ordered him,“ Don’t tell anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.”Yet the news about him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. Then the eyes of those who see will no longer be closed, and the ears of those who hear will listen.The fearful heart will know and understand, and the stammering tongue will be fluent and clear. (niv)

As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging.When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening.They told him,“ Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.”He called out,“ Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”Those who led the way rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more,“ Son of David, have mercy on me!”Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him,“ What do you want me to do for you?”“ Lord, I want to see,” he replied.Jesus said to him,“ Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.”Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God. (niv)

Then he went up and touched the bier they were carrying him on, and the bearers stood still. He said,“ Young man, I say to you, get up!”The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother. (niv)

As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distanceand called out in a loud voice,“ Jesus, Master, have pity on us!”When he saw them, he said,“ Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed.One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice.He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him— and he was a Samaritan.Jesus asked,“ Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?”Then he said to him,“ Rise and go; your faith has made you well.” (niv)

In Lystra there sat a man who was lame. He had been that way from birth and had never walked.He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healedand called out,“ Stand up on your feet!” At that, the man jumped up and began to walk. (niv)

I was eyes to the blind and feet to the lame. (niv)

“ I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles,to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness. (niv)
