耶稣又进了会堂，那里有个人一只手是萎缩的。当时有好些人密切地监视耶稣，看祂是否会在安息日医治这个人，好找借口控告祂。耶稣对那一只手萎缩的人说：“起来，站在中间。”然后问众人：“在安息日应该行善还是作恶？救人还是害人？”他们都不吭声。耶稣生气地看着四周这些人，为他们的心刚硬而感到极其难过。祂对那人说：“把手伸出来！”那人一伸手，手就立刻复原了。法利赛人离开后，立刻和希律党的人策划怎样除掉耶稣。

耶稣离开那里，走进会堂，里面有个人，一只手是萎缩的。法利赛人企图找借口控告耶稣，就问祂：“安息日可不可以医病呢？”耶稣回答说：“如果你们有一只羊在安息日掉进坑里，难道你们不把它拉上来吗？人比羊要贵重多了！所以在安息日行善合情合理。”于是，耶稣转过身来对那人说：“把手伸出来！”那人一伸手，手就复原了，跟另一只手一样健康。法利赛人却走了出去，策划怎样除掉耶稣。

耶稣下到加利利的迦百农镇，在安息日教导众人。

祂来到自己长大的地方拿撒勒，照常在安息日进会堂，并站起来诵读圣经。

里面躺着瞎眼的、瘸腿的、瘫痪的等许多病人。

耶稣走遍加利利，在各个会堂里教导人，宣讲天国的福音，医治人们各样的疾病。

有个安息日，耶稣在会堂里讲道。

有些法利赛人说：“那个人不是从上帝那里来的，因为祂不守安息日。”有些人却说：“如果祂是个罪人，又怎能行这样的神迹呢？”他们就争论起来。

耶稣问法利赛人和律法教师：“在安息日可以医病吗？”

耶稣双手按在她身上，她的腰立刻直了，便颂赞上帝。会堂主管看到耶稣在安息日为人治病，十分恼怒，就对众人说：“一周有六天可以工作，求医应当在这六天之内，不可在安息日！”

有一个安息日，耶稣和门徒走过一片麦田，门徒随手摘下一些麦穗搓了吃。

耶罗波安王听了他的话，就伸手指着他说：“给我拿住他！”但王伸出来的手僵住了，不能收回。

“丢弃羊群的无用牧人有祸了！愿刀砍在他的臂膀和右眼上！愿他的臂膀彻底枯槁，他的右眼完全失明！”
