How can you say to your brother,‘ Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

How can you say to your friend,‘ Let me take the bit of sawdust out of your eye’? How can you say this while there is a piece of wood in your own eye? You pretender! First take the piece of wood out of your own eye. Then you will be able to see clearly to take the bit of sawdust out of your friend’s eye.

How can you say to your brother,‘ Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother’s eye.

How can you think of saying,‘ Friend, let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye.

Or how can you say to your brother,‘ Brother, let me take out the splinter that is in your eye,’ when you yourself don’t see the beam of wood in your eye? Hypocrite! First take the beam of wood out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the splinter in your brother’s eye.

How can you say to your brother,‘ Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother’s eye.

你说，我很富有，已经发了财，什么都不缺。你却不知道自己困苦、可怜、贫穷、瞎眼、赤身露体。我劝你向我买精炼的金子，使你真正富有。你也要向我买白袍穿在身上，好遮盖你赤身露体的羞辱。你也要向我买眼药抹眼睛，使你能看见。

“眼睛是身上的灯。如果你的眼睛明亮，全身都光明；要是你的眼睛昏花，全身就黑暗。如果你里面的光黑暗了，那黑暗是多么大啊！

就是替阿尼西谋求你。他是我在狱中带领归主的属灵儿子，他过去对你没有什么益处，但现在对你对我都有益处。

因此，你这论断人的啊，不管你是谁，都难逃罪责。你在什么事上论断别人，就在什么事上定了自己的罪，因为你论断别人的事，自己也在做。

求你饶恕我的罪过，除去我一切的罪恶。上帝啊，求你为我造一颗纯洁的心，使我里面重新有正直的灵。不要丢弃我，使我离开你，也不要从我身上收回你的圣灵。求你让我重新享受蒙你拯救的喜乐，赐我一颗乐意顺服你的心灵。这样，我就能把你的法则教导罪人，使他们归向你。

“你这魔鬼的儿子，充满了诡诈和邪恶，是一切正义之敌，到现在还想歪曲主的正道吗？

彼得说：“你们每一个人都要悔改，奉耶稣基督的名受洗，使你们的罪得到赦免，你们就必领受上帝所赐的圣灵。

这一切都是上帝的作为，祂借着基督使我们与祂和好，又把劝人与祂和好的职分赐给了我们。

那么，你这教导别人的，为什么不教导自己呢？你教导人不可偷盗，自己却偷盗吗？你告诉他人不可通奸，自己却通奸吗？你憎恶偶像，自己却去偷庙里的东西吗？你以律法自夸，自己却违犯律法羞辱上帝吗？正如圣经上说：“因你们的缘故，上帝的名在外族人中受到亵渎！”如果你遵行律法，割礼才有价值；如果你违犯律法，受了割礼也如同未受割礼。如果未受割礼的人遵行律法的教导，他岂不算是受了割礼吗？身体未受割礼却遵行律法的人，必审判你这有律法条文、受了割礼却违犯律法的人。因为徒具外表的犹太人不是真正的犹太人，身体上的割礼也不是真正的割礼。唯有从心里做犹太人的才是真犹太人，真割礼是借着圣灵在心里受的割礼，不在于律法条文。这样的人得到的称赞不是从人来的，而是从上帝来的。

先告状的看似有理，一经对质真相大白。

我们怎样以圣洁、公义、纯全的方式对待你们众信徒，你们自己可以作证，上帝也可以作证。你们也知道，我们对待你们就像父亲对待自己的孩子一样。我们安慰你们，劝勉你们，督促你们，好叫你们行事为人对得起上帝，祂呼召你们进入祂的国、享受祂的荣耀。

“虚伪的律法教师和法利赛人啊，你们有祸了！因为你们当着人们的面关闭天国之门，自己不进去，也不让别人进去。

主说：“你们这些伪君子，莫非你们在安息日不解开棚里的牛和驴，带它们去喝水吗？

缺乏上述品德的人不是瞎眼就是目光短浅，忘记他从前的罪已经得到洁净。

人若洁身自爱，远离卑贱的事，就必成为圣洁无瑕的贵重器皿，可以被主用来成就各样的善事。

但上帝对恶人说：“你怎能背诵我的律法，谈论我的约？你憎恶我的管教，把我的话抛在脑后。你见了盗贼就与他同流合污，又喜欢与淫乱的人交往。你满口恶言，谎话连篇，肆意毁谤自己的同胞兄弟。我对你的所作所为默然不语，你就以为我与你是同道。现在我要责备你，当面指出你的罪状。

你在上帝面前心术不正，休想在我们的事工上有份。

彼得想起耶稣说的话：“在鸡叫以前，你会三次不认我。”他就跑出去，失声痛哭。

但我已经为你祷告了，叫你不至于失去信心。你回头以后，要让你的弟兄刚强。”

一连三天，扫罗什么也看不见，也不吃也不喝。这时候，在大马士革有个门徒名叫亚拿尼亚，他在异象中听见主呼唤他的名字，就回答说：“主啊，我在这里。”主说：“起来，到直街的犹大家去见一个来自大数、名叫扫罗的人，他正在向我祷告。我让他在异象中看见一个名叫亚拿尼亚的人去他那里，把手按在他身上，使他恢复视力。”亚拿尼亚回答说：“主啊！我听见许多人说他对耶路撒冷的信徒大加迫害。他来这里是得到祭司长的授权，要拘捕所有求告你名的人。”主对亚拿尼亚说：“你放心去吧！他是我拣选的器皿，要向外族人、君王和以色列人宣扬我的名。我会让他知道他必为我的名而受许多的苦。”亚拿尼亚去了，进了那家，就把手按在扫罗身上，说：“扫罗弟兄，在你来的路上向你显现的主耶稣派我来使你重见光明、被圣灵充满。”顿时，扫罗的眼睛上有鳞片似的东西脱落，他立刻恢复了视力，便起来接受了洗礼。他吃过东西之后，体力也恢复了。他和大马士革的门徒住了几天之后，便到各会堂去宣讲：“耶稣是上帝的儿子。”
