The Lord is good to all, And His mercies are over all His works.

One who is gracious to a poor person lends to the Lord, And He will repay him for his good deed.

One who is generous will be blessed, Because he gives some of his food to the poor.

‘ Now in case a countryman of yours becomes poor and his means among you falter, then you are to sustain him, like a stranger or a resident, so that he may live with you.Do not take any kind of interest from him, but fear your God, so that your countryman may live with you.You shall not give him your silver at interest, nor your food for profit.

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.

It goes well for a person who is gracious and lends; He will maintain his cause in judgment.

My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.
