And when they had entered, they went up to the upper room, where they were staying, Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot and Judas the son of James.

And going on from there he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and he called them.

While walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon( who is called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen.

And he took with him Peter and James and John, and began to be greatly distressed and troubled.

He killed James the brother of John with the sword,

Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;

Lifting up his eyes, then, and seeing that a large crowd was coming toward him, Jesus said to Philip,“ Where are we to buy bread, so that these people may eat?”

One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to him,

and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon,“ Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men.”

Simeon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained a faith of equal standing with ours by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:

Philip said to him,“ Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.”

And he allowed no one to follow him except Peter and James and John the brother of James.

Philip found Nathanael and said to him,“ We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying,“ Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord.”

And going on a little farther, he saw James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, who were in their boat mending the nets.

One of the two who heard John speak and followed Jesus was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.He first found his own brother Simon and said to him,“ We have found the Messiah”( which means Christ).He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said,“ You are Simon the son of John. You shall be called Cephas”( which means Peter).

And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James and John, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. And he was transfigured before them,

And immediately he left the synagogue and entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.

When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?” He said to him,“ Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him,“ Feed my lambs.”He said to him a second time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me?” He said to him,“ Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him,“ Tend my sheep.”He said to him the third time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time,“ Do you love me?” and he said to him,“ Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him,“ Feed my sheep.Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were young, you used to dress yourself and walk wherever you wanted, but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you and carry you where you do not want to go.”( This he said to show by what kind of death he was to glorify God.) And after saying this he said to him,“ Follow me.”Peter turned and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them, the one who also had leaned back against him during the supper and had said,“ Lord, who is it that is going to betray you?”When Peter saw him, he said to Jesus,“ Lord, what about this man?”Jesus said to him,“ If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow me!”So the saying spread abroad among the brothers that this disciple was not to die; yet Jesus did not say to him that he was not to die, but,“ If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you?”This is the disciple who is bearing witness about these things, and who has written these things, and we know that his testimony is true.
