这时候，有几个人用床榻抬来一个瘫痪的人，想把他带进去放在耶稣面前。

有人用褥子擡着一個癱子，要擡進去放在耶穌面前，

有以床舁癱瘋者、欲尋間而入、置耶穌前、

有人以榻舁癱瘓者來、欲舁之進室、置耶穌前、

有人以榻畀一癩者至、欲進求耶穌、

Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus.

So some men came carrying a man who could not walk. He was lying on a mat. They tried to take him into the house to place him in front of Jesus.

And behold, some men were bringing on a bed a man who was paralyzed, and they were seeking to bring him in and lay him before Jesus,

Just then some men came, carrying on a stretcher a man who was paralyzed. They tried to bring him in and set him down before him.

And behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, be of good cheer; thy sins are forgiven.And behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?For which is easier, to say, Thy sins are forgiven; or to say, Arise, and walk?But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins( then saith he to the sick of the palsy), Arise, and take up thy bed, and go unto thy house.And he arose, and departed to his house.But when the multitudes saw it, they were afraid, and glorified God, who had given such authority unto men.

And they come, bringing unto him a man sick of the palsy, borne of four.And when they could not come nigh unto him for the crowd, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed whereon the sick of the palsy lay.And Jesus seeing their faith saith unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins are forgiven.But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,Why doth this man thus speak? he blasphemeth: who can forgive sins but one, even God?And straightway Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, saith unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?Which is easier, to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins are forgiven; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins( he saith to the sick of the palsy),I say unto thee, Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thy house.And he arose, and straightway took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.

And a certain man was there, who had been thirty and eight years in his infirmity.When Jesus saw him lying, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wouldest thou be made whole?

And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had kept his bed eight years; for he was palsied.
