Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble,and make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is impaired may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

Now the brother or sister of humble circumstances is to glory in his high position;

Then those who limp will leap like a deer, And the tongue of those who cannot speak will shout for joy. For waters will burst forth in the wilderness, And streams in the desert.The scorched land will become a pool And the thirsty ground springs of water; In the haunt of jackals, its resting place, Grass becomes reeds and rushes.A highway will be there, a roadway, And it will be called the Highway of Holiness. The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord anointed me To bring good news to the humble; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim release to captives And freedom to prisoners;To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The cloak of praise instead of a disheartened spirit. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

He has done mighty deeds with His arm; He has scattered those who were proud in the thoughts of their hearts.He has brought down rulers from their thrones, And has exalted those who were humble.He has filled the hungry with good things, And sent the rich away empty handed.
