John answered them all,“ I baptize you with water, but one who is more powerful than I am is coming. I am not worthy to untie the strap of his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

John responded to them all, saying,“ As for me, I baptize you with water; but He is coming who is mightier than I, and I am not fit to untie the straps of His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

John answered, saying to all,“ I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but there cometh he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:

因为约翰是用水施洗，但过不了多少日子，你们就要受圣灵的洗。”

我一开始讲话，圣灵就降临在他们身上，就像当初降临在我们身上一样。我就想起了主如此说的话，‘约翰用水施洗，但你们将要受圣灵的洗。’

我以前也不认识他，可是那派我用水施洗的对我说：‘如果你看见圣灵降临在谁身上，又停留在谁身上，谁就是用圣灵施洗的那一位。’

“我用水给你们施洗，是为了你们的悔改。但在我之后来的那一位，是比我更强有力的，我就是为他提鞋子也不配。他要用圣灵和火给你们施洗。

保罗说：“约翰所施的是悔改的洗礼，他告诉民众当相信在他以后来的那一位，就是相信耶稣。”他们听了，就受洗归入了主耶稣的名。

约翰回答说：“我用水施洗，但有一位站在你们中间，是你们不认识的，

实际上，我们受洗也都是藉着一位圣灵成为一个身体——无论是犹太人或外邦人，无论是奴隶或自由人——并且我们都是受了一位圣灵的浇灌。

不过他来的日子，谁能承受得起呢？他显现的时候，谁能站立得住呢？因为他像炼金之人的火，又像漂布之人的碱。他必安坐像熬炼、洁净银子之人，洁净利未的子孙，精炼他们像精炼金银那样；他们就必藉着公义向耶和华献供物。

有舌头像火焰那样，向他们显现，分开留在他们每一个人身上。于是他们都被圣灵充满，就照着圣灵赐给他们的话，开始说出别种语言。

信我的人，就如经上所说的，从他的腹中将要涌流出活水的江河。”

在耶稣公开出来之前，约翰预先向所有以色列子民宣讲了悔改的洗礼。当约翰快要跑尽该跑的路程时，说：‘你们认为我是谁？我不是那一位。看哪，他要在我以后来，我就是为他解脚上的鞋带也不配。’

因为主必藉着审判之灵和焚烧之灵，洗净锡安女子的污秽，又除净耶路撒冷中杀人流血的罪。

他宣讲，说：“在我之后，有一位比我更强有力的要来。我就是弯腰为他解鞋带也不配。我用水给你们施洗，但他要用圣灵给你们施洗。”

因为我要用水浇灌干渴之处，用河流浇灌干旱之地；我要把我的灵浇灌在你的后裔身上，把我的祝福浇灌在你的子孙身上。他们要像溪水旁的柳树，在青草间长出。

等到圣灵从高处倾注在我们身上，旷野就要变为果园，而果园要被看为果林。

你们要因我的责备而回转；看哪，我要把我的灵倾注在你们身上，使你们明白我的话语！

彼得还在讲这些话的时候，圣灵降临在每个听这话语的人身上。

他被高举在神的右边，从父领受了所应许的圣灵，就将圣灵倾注了下来。这正是你们现在所看见所听见的。

‘神说，在末后的那些日子里将是这样：我要把我的灵倾注在所有人身上，你们的儿女要说预言，你们的年轻人要见异象，你们的老年人要做异梦。是的，在那些日子里，我也要将我的灵倾注在我的奴仆和婢女们身上，他们就要说预言。
