So when they had eaten their breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter,“ Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me more than these?” He said to him,“ Yes, Lord; you know that I have affection for you.” He said to him,“ Feed my lambs.”He said to him again a second time,“ Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me?” He said to him,“ Yes, Lord; you know that I have affection for you.” He said to him,“ Tend my sheep.”He said to him the third time,“ Simon, son of Jonah, do you have affection for me?” Peter was grieved because he asked him the third time,“ Do you have affection for me?” He said to him,“ Lord, you know everything. You know that I have affection for you.” Jesus said to him,“ Feed my sheep.

Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

I pray for them. I don’t pray for the world, but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours.All things that are mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them.I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them through your name which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are.

My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. If anyone sins, we have a Counselor with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous.And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.

Be sober and self- controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings.But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

Therefore prepare your minds for action. Be sober, and set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ—

who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.For as the sufferings of Christ abound to us, even so our comfort also abounds through Christ.But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer.

Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Uphold me with a willing spirit.Then I will teach transgressors your ways. Sinners will be converted to you.

Those on the rock are they who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; but these have no root, who believe for a while, then fall away in time of temptation.

Therefore lift up the hands that hang down and the feeble knees,and make straight paths for your feet, so what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one.They are not of the world even as I am not of the world.Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth.As you sent me into the world, even so I have sent them into the world.For their sakes I sanctify myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth.Not for these only do I pray, but for those also who will believe in me through their word,that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me.

looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it,

Peter remembered the word which Jesus had said to him,“ Before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.” Then he went out and wept bitterly.

although I used to be a blasphemer, a persecutor, and insolent. However, I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.The grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.The saying is faithful and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.However, for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first, Jesus Christ might display all his patience for an example of those who were going to believe in him for eternal life.

He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?

Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them.

“ Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord,

Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the chosen ones who are living as foreigners in the Dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

Therefore, brothers, be more diligent to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never stumble.For thus you will be richly supplied with the entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.Therefore I will not be negligent to remind you of these things, though you know them, and are established in the present truth.

Yet a little while, and the world will see me no more; but you will see me. Because I live, you will live also.

and said,“ Most certainly I tell you, unless you turn, and become as little children, you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

You therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware, lest being carried away with the error of the wicked, you fall from your own steadfastness.But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

men who have erred concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past, and overthrowing the faith of some.

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we will be saved from God’s wrath through him.For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.

The Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the Lord’s word, how he said to him,“ Before the rooster crows you will deny me three times.”He went out, and wept bitterly.

Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for these things, be diligent to be found in peace, without defect and blameless in his sight.

But go, tell his disciples and Peter,‘ He goes before you into Galilee. There you will see him, as he said to you.’”

The rooster crowed the second time. Peter remembered the word, how that Jesus said to him,“ Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.” When he thought about that, he wept.

Yahweh said to Satan,“ Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?”Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the angel.He answered and spoke to those who stood before him, saying,“ Take the filthy garments off him.” To him he said,“ Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with rich clothing.”

When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.For day and night your hand was heavy on me. My strength was sapped in the heat of summer. Selah.I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn’t hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.For this, let everyone who is godly pray to you in a time when you may be found. Surely when the great waters overflow, they shall not reach to him.
