謂之曰、爾入城、必遇一攜水瓶者、爾即隨之、至其所入之室、

曰：『爾入城、將見一人、持水瓶迎面至、可從行入宅、

He replied,“ As you enter the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him to the house that he enters,

不過我把這些事告訴了你們，是為了當事情發生的時候，你們會記起我對你們說過了。我當初沒有告訴你們這些事，是因為我一直與你們在一起。

有主的一位天使對腓利說：「你起來，順著那條從耶路撒冷下到加沙的路，往南走。」那裡是曠野。腓利就起身去了。看哪，有一個埃塞俄比亞人，是個太監，是埃塞俄比亞坎蒂絲女王的大臣，統管她整個國庫。他到耶路撒冷去敬拜後，在回去的時候，坐在他的馬車裡誦讀先知以賽亞的書。聖靈對腓利說：「你上前去，貼近那馬車走。」

耶穌說：「你們進城去，到某人那裡，告訴他：『老師說，我的時候快到了。我要在你那裡與我的門徒們一起守逾越節。』」門徒們就依照耶穌所吩咐的去做，預備了逾越節的晚餐。

今天你離開我以後，將在便雅憫境內的謝撒，拉結的墳墓附近遇見兩個人。他們會對你說：『你去尋找的那幾頭母驢已經找到了。看哪，你父親已經不操心驢的事，反而為你們擔憂，說：「我兒子的情況，我該怎麼辦呢？」』「你從那裡經過再往前走，來到它泊的橡樹，在那裡會遇見三個上伯特利拜見神的人，一個帶著三隻小山羊，一個帶著三塊餅，一個帶著一皮袋酒。他們會向你問安，然後給你兩塊餅，你要從他們手中接過來。「此後你要去神的山，那裡有非利士的駐軍。你到那城的時候，會遇見一隊先知正從高所下來，他們都在說預言；在他們前面有彈里拉琴的、擊鼓的、吹笛的、彈豎琴的。耶和華的靈會大大臨到你，你就會與他們一同說預言，轉變為另一個人。這些徵兆臨到你的時候，你手所當做的，只管去做，因為神與你同在。

快到伯法其和伯大尼，那叫做「橄欖園」的山，耶穌派了兩個門徒，說：「你們到對面的村子裡去。你們一進村，就會發現一頭驢駒拴在那裡，是從來沒有人騎過的。你們把牠解開牽過來。如果有人問你們為什麼解開牠，你們就這樣說『主需要牠。』」被差派的人去了，發現事情正如耶穌所告訴他們的。在他們解開驢駒的時候，驢的主人們問他們：「你們為什麼解開這驢駒呢？」他們就說：「主需要牠。」他們牽著驢駒到耶穌那裡，把自己的外衣搭在驢駒上，扶著耶穌騎上去。耶穌前行的時候，人們把自己的外衣鋪在路上。耶穌已經快到橄欖山的下坡附近的時候，全體門徒為了他們所看見的一切神蹟，開始歡樂起來，大聲讚美神，說：「奉主名而來的那位君王，是蒙祝福的！在天上有和平，在至高之處有榮耀！」人群中有一些法利賽人對耶穌說：「老師，責備你的門徒吧！」耶穌回答說：「我告訴你們：這些人如果不做聲，石頭都會呼喊起來！」
