“ The time is coming when all these things will be completely demolished. Not one stone will be left on top of another!”

耶稣就说：“论到你们所看见的这一切，将来日子到了，在这里没有一块石头留在石头上，不被拆毁了。”

“你们看见的这些，到了日子，必没有一块石头留在另一块石头上面，每一块都要拆下来。”

“你们现在所看见的这些，当那些日子来到的时候，将不会有一块石头留在另一块石头上而不被拆下。”

耶穌就說：『關於你們所觀看的這一切、日子必到，那時在這裏必沒有一塊石頭能留在一塊石頭上、而不被拆毁的。』

耶穌曰、爾所見諸物、日將至、無石遺於石上、而弗圮也、

耶穌曰、爾觀此物、日至、將不遺石於石上、必盡圮也、

爾觀此物、日將至、無一石留於石上、皆必傾圮、

耶穌曰：『茲所睹者、他日盡須傾圮、將無一片之石、仍留於他石之上矣。』

“ As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one of them will be thrown down.”

“ Do you see all this? The time will come when not one stone will be left on top of another. Every stone will be thrown down.”

“ As for these things that you see, the days will come when there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”

As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in which there shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

How the gold has lost its luster! Even the finest gold has become dull. The sacred gemstones lie scattered in the streets!

Don’t you yourselves admit that this Temple, which bears my name, has become a den of thieves? Surely I see all the evil going on there. I, the Lord, have spoken!“‘ Go now to the place at Shiloh where I once put the Tabernacle that bore my name. See what I did there because of all the wickedness of my people, the Israelites.While you were doing these wicked things, says the Lord, I spoke to you about it repeatedly, but you would not listen. I called out to you, but you refused to answer.So just as I destroyed Shiloh, I will now destroy this Temple that bears my name, this Temple that you trust in for help, this place that I gave to you and your ancestors.

“ After this period of sixty two sets of seven, the Anointed One will be killed, appearing to have accomplished nothing, and a ruler will arise whose armies will destroy the city and the Temple. The end will come with a flood, and war and its miseries are decreed from that time to the very end.The ruler will make a treaty with the people for a period of one set of seven, but after half this time, he will put an end to the sacrifices and offerings. And as a climax to all his terrible deeds, he will set up a sacrilegious object that causes desecration, until the fate decreed for this defiler is finally poured out on him.”

He has broken down his Temple as though it were merely a garden shelter. The Lord has blotted out all memory of the holy festivals and Sabbath days. Kings and priests fall together before his fierce anger.The Lord has rejected his own altar; he despises his own sanctuary. He has given Jerusalem’s palaces to her enemies. They shout in the Lord’s Temple as though it were a day of celebration.The Lord was determined to destroy the walls of beautiful Jerusalem. He made careful plans for their destruction, then did what he had planned. Therefore, the ramparts and walls have fallen down before him.

Open your doors, Lebanon, so that fire may devour your cedar forests.

Your holy cities are destroyed. Zion is a wilderness; yes, Jerusalem is a desolate ruin.The holy and beautiful Temple where our ancestors praised you has been burned down, and all the things of beauty are destroyed.

They will crush you into the ground, and your children with you. Your enemies will not leave a single stone in place, because you did not recognize it when God visited you.”Then Jesus entered the Temple and began to drive out the people selling animals for sacrifices.He said to them,“ The Scriptures declare,‘ My Temple will be a house of prayer,’ but you have turned it into a den of thieves.”After that, he taught daily in the Temple, but the leading priests, the teachers of religious law, and the other leaders of the people began planning how to kill him.But they could think of nothing, because all the people hung on every word he said.

They were proud of their beautiful jewelry and used it to make detestable idols and vile images. Therefore, I will make all their wealth disgusting to them.I will give it as plunder to foreigners, to the most wicked of nations, and they will defile it.I will turn my eyes from them as these robbers invade and defile my treasured land.

then I will destroy this Temple as I destroyed Shiloh, the place where the Tabernacle was located. And I will make Jerusalem an object of cursing in every nation on earth.’”

They said,“ Remember when Micah of Moresheth prophesied during the reign of King Hezekiah of Judah. He told the people of Judah,‘ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Mount Zion will be plowed like an open field; Jerusalem will be reduced to ruins! A thicket will grow on the heights where the Temple now stands.’

But he responded,“ Do you see all these buildings? I tell you the truth, they will be completely demolished. Not one stone will be left on top of another!”

then I will uproot the people from this land that I have given them. I will reject this Temple that I have made holy to honor my name. I will make it an object of mockery and ridicule among the nations.And though this Temple is impressive now, all who pass by will be appalled. They will ask,‘ Why did the Lord do such terrible things to this land and to this Temple?’“ And the answer will be,‘ Because his people abandoned the Lord, the God of their ancestors, who brought them out of Egypt, and they worshiped other gods instead and bowed down to them. That is why he has brought all these disasters on them.’”

The lying witnesses said,“ This man is always speaking against the holy Temple and against the law of Moses.We have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy the Temple and change the customs Moses handed down to us.”

“ What right do you have to prophesy in the Lord’s name that this Temple will be destroyed like Shiloh? What do you mean, saying that Jerusalem will be destroyed and left with no inhabitants?” And all the people threatened him as he stood in front of the Temple.

For Jerusalem is empty and desolate, a place haunted by jackals.

Jesus replied,“ Yes, look at these great buildings. But they will be completely demolished. Not one stone will be left on top of another!”

I will gather all the nations to fight against Jerusalem. The city will be taken, the houses looted, and the women raped. Half the population will be taken into captivity, and the rest will be left among the ruins of the city.
