For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.

At my first defense, no one came to my support, but everyone deserted me. The Lord said to him,“ Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord?Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.” (niv)

For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. (niv)

Then Agrippa said to Paul,“ Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?” (niv)

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. (niv)

All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. (niv)

As Paul talked about righteousness, self- control and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and said,“ That’s enough for now! You may leave. When I find it convenient, I will send for you.” (niv)
