Settle it therefore in your minds not to meditate beforehand how to answer,

所以，你们当立定心意，不要预先思想怎样分诉；

你们要立定心志，不要为怎样申辩而忧虑，

所以，你们应当心里镇定，用不着预先思虑怎样申辩。

務宜鎮定爾心、毋庸事先考慮、何以應答、

But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves.

So don’t worry in advance about how to answer the charges against you,

Therefore make up your minds not to prepare your defense ahead of time,

And when they bring you to trial and deliver you over, do not be anxious beforehand what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour, for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.

And when they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not be anxious about how you should defend yourself or what you should say,for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”

When they deliver you over, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour.For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
