他的父母看見他，感到吃驚，他的母親就對他說：「孩子啊，為什麼對我們這樣做呢？你看，你父親和我一直在焦急地找你呢！」

父母見而異之、其母謂之曰、兒、何待我若此乎、爾父與我憂苦覓爾、

二親見而異之、其母曰、兒、何使我若此乎、爾父與我、痛心尋爾、

父母見之甚異、母曰、兒、何如此行於我、爾父與我傷心尋爾、

二親見之、不勝驚愕。聖母謂之曰：『兒何待我如此？汝父與我覓汝苦矣！』

When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him,“ Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.”

His parents didn’t know what to think.“ Son,” his mother said to him,“ why have you done this to us? Your father and I have been frantic, searching for you everywhere.”

When Joseph and Mary saw Him, they were bewildered; and His mother said to Him,“ Son, why have You treated us this way? Behold, Your father and I have been anxiously looking for You!”

So when they saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him,“ Son, why have You done this to us? Look, Your father and I have sought You anxiously.”

And when they saw him, they were astonished; and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I sought thee sorrowing.

耶稣对他们说：“你们为什么找我呢？难道你们不知道我应该在我父的家吗？”

大家都称赞祂，听见祂那些充满恩典的话，都感到惊奇，就说：“这不是约瑟的儿子吗？”

耶稣开始传道的时候，年纪约三十岁，照人的看法，祂是约瑟的儿子，约瑟是希里的儿子，

耶稣还在和众人说话的时候，祂的母亲和兄弟站在外面，想要跟祂说话。
