Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.

Anna came up to Jesus’ family at that moment. She gave thanks to God. And she spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the time when Jerusalem would be set free.

And coming up at that very hour she began to give thanks to God and to speak of him to all who were waiting for the redemption of Jerusalem.

She came along just as Simeon was talking with Mary and Joseph, and she began praising God. She talked about the child to everyone who had been waiting expectantly for God to rescue Jerusalem.

在耶路撒冷有一个人，名叫西面；这人又公义又虔诚，素常盼望以色列的安慰者来到，又有圣灵在他身上。

但我们素来所盼望、要赎以色列民的就是他！不但如此，而且这事成就，现在已经三天了。

感谢神，因他有说不尽的恩赐！

有亚利马太的约瑟前来，他是尊贵的议士，也是等候神国的。他放胆进去见彼拉多，求耶稣的身体；

“主以色列的神是应当称颂的！因他眷顾他的百姓，为他们施行救赎，

撒迦利亚的口立时开了，舌头也舒展了，就说出话来，称颂神。周围居住的人都惧怕；这一切的事就传遍了犹太的山地。凡听见的人都将这事放在心里，说：“这个孩子将来怎么样呢？”因为有主与他同在。

马利亚说：“我心尊主为大；我灵以神我的救主为乐；因为他顾念他使女的卑微；从今以后，万代要称我有福。那有权能的，为我成就了大事；他的名为圣。他怜悯敬畏他的人，直到世世代代。他用膀臂施展大能；那狂傲的人正心里妄想就被他赶散了。他叫有权柄的失位，叫卑贱的升高；叫饥饿的得饱美食，叫富足的空手回去。他扶助了他的仆人以色列，为要记念亚伯拉罕和他的后裔，施怜悯直到永远，正如从前对我们列祖所说的话。”马利亚和伊利莎白同住，约有三个月，就回家去了。

愿颂赞归与我们主耶稣基督的父神！他在基督里曾赐给我们天上各样属灵的福气：

西面就用手接过他来，称颂神说：“主啊！如今可以照你的话，释放仆人安然去世；因为我的眼睛已经看见你的救恩，就是你在万民面前所预备的，是照亮外邦人的光，又是你民以色列的荣耀。”

众人所谋所为，他并没有附从。他本是犹太、亚利马太城里素常盼望神国的人。
