Suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying:Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to people He favors!

The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had seen and heard, just as they had been told.

Praise the Lord, the God of Israel, because He has visited and provided redemption for His people.

After taking them in His arms, He laid His hands on them and blessed them.

Give thanks to Yahweh, call on His name; proclaim His deeds among the peoples.Sing to Him, sing praise to Him; tell about all His wonderful works!Honor His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek Yahweh rejoice.

And Mary said: My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,

Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous ones; shout for joy, all you upright in heart.Rejoice in the Lord, you righteous ones; praise from the upright is beautiful.

Then He took a child, had him stand among them, and taking him in His arms, He said to them,

House of Israel, praise Yahweh! House of Aaron, praise Yahweh!House of Levi, praise Yahweh! You who revere the Lord, praise the Lord!
