When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him,“ Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.”

There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.For his disciples were gone away into the city to buy food.The Samaritan woman therefore saith unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, who am a Samaritan woman?( For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

And the two angels came to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot saw them, and rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face to the earth;and he said, Behold now, my lords, turn aside, I pray you, into your servant’s house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your way. O Jehovah, thou hast searched me, and known me.Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising; Thou understandest my thought afar off.Thou searchest out my path and my lying down, And art acquainted with all my ways.

Forget not to show love unto strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

For the Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost.

that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

And working together with him we entreat also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain

Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, whither thou goest.

I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way: Oh when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.I will set no base thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; It shall not cleave unto me.
