As he approached Bethphage and Bethany at the hill called the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples, saying to them,

近耶路撒冷、至伯法其、邇橄欖山、耶穌遣二門徒、曰、爾往前村、遇牝驢縶焉、有小驢同在、解而牽之、有詰爾者、則曰、主需之、彼必從而放焉、如是應先知言云、告郇之女、爾王臨至、溫柔而乘驢、及驢之小者、即引重之子也、門徒遂往、如命而行、牽驢及小驢、置衣於上、扶耶穌乘之、有眾以衣布道、或伐樹枝、布於途、前後眾庶呼曰、大闢之裔、萬福歟、托主名來者、當見寵也、在上者萬福矣、○耶穌入耶路撒冷時、舉城悚動曰、此為誰、眾曰、加利利拿撒勒先知耶穌也、○

耶穌率之至伯大尼舉手祝之、

當是日、其足將立於耶路撒冷東之橄欖山、斯山必裂、其半向北崩圮、其半向南崩圮、自東及西、成為巨谷、

遂去之、出城、至伯大尼宿焉、○

至橄欖山、將下、眾門徒喜、大聲讚美上帝、為所見之異能、

耶穌日在殿教誨、夜出至橄欖山宿焉、

耶穌出、仍往橄欖山、門徒從之、

明日、眾來守節期、聞耶穌將至耶路撒冷、取棗枝出迎之、呼曰、萬福歟、以主名而來之以色列王、當見寵也、耶穌遇小驢乘之、如經云、郇之女勿懼、王來兮、乘驢駒、門徒初不明此語、耶穌榮後、方憶此事、記已載之、而人果如是行也、
